Sadly it's already over, it was so little time, I've even overseen the tie-break. Congatulation jonblend π - well done.
and because I kept a screenshot of the rule set for quick reference, I can tell you that the tie break has not always been there

Thank You for the information, I thought I was not carefully reading the rules, because I did not remember the tiebreak. I tried Rotterdam a few times, but Netherland never left the Port. How did You got it ? Was it the random luck of the braves, or did you have a special strategy jonblend ?

How did You got it ? Was it the random luck of the braves, or did you have a special strategy jonblend ? It all started when I was analyzing your 23 rounds run and my 24 and in the last picture, there was a British ship in Rotterdam. So instead of taking the longer route to Le Havre this should be faster (using the terrain movement guide). And luckily, I still had a turn 13 save so whatever caused it should be revealed soon. Then I skipped many turns very often to see what triggered the Dutch to leave their port because Sidney usually failed to take it by force. In my case this was a lone artillery that was passing north of London, boarded a transport ship and came to stop 3 tiles from Rotterdam. Next turn, the Dutch ship moved out to attack it and on some occasions they left the port unguarded, creating my opportunity.
To sum it up, if I hadn't known it was possible, I wouldn't have gone through all the s/l to make sure the ship gets drawn out. So, luck+analyzing AI movement+strategy

I didn't pay attention to the enemy moves, but it probably must have been for the same reason. A deserved first place, jonblend !

Thank You for the detailed explanation. I tried first Rotterdam, but as the port remained occupied, so I went for scandinavia. When I've seen your posting I tried to find the trigger, but I could not find it in many attends. So nice that You shared your experience.

It was indeed added later on.

The rewards are out but I need to clarify it first. Congratulations to you and ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ. Unfortunately blueberry didn't make it because the host decided to count the Baltic. I was told that they won't, but somehow they did.

So jonblend and ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ, you guys have the option of either 2000 EW4 medals or medals for other games with similar value, except EW7, which will be 500 medals. If you are iOS, then you have to go with another game.

Based on the previous conversion rate, the GCR equivalent would be 670, but there might be changes.

Format: name, turns, country, remaining gold. Players from baidu will be referred to as "baidu player." Current ranking: - jonblend , 22, Wallachia, 621
- Baidu player, 22, Wallachia, 2
- ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ , 23, Wallachia, 273
- blueberry, 25, Wallachia, 392
- Baidu player, 25, Wallachia, 142
It was great fun, sadly the time was really short. It would be nice if You add the Names for the "baidu player"s Erich von Manstein. I don't have much time to play - otherwise I did a third run before - so if it is possible I'd like to give my reward to the next one who can play.

Seeing jonblend's strategy I never thought that with 20+ rounds we can reach the ranking.
So which game would you like to receive the award?
