for those in a rush to farm some more challenge rewards with mobility gems. naples 100yw was a breaze, considering the map. mind you other maps are still easier. be sure NOT to upgrade workshops for the first 3 rounds, bc you want to pay blackmail to almost everybody. (with-7diplomacy) you will also ally with almost everbody.

In order to not run out of compasses, should I unlock the locked countries in a certain order?
Or will I receive new compasses when I finish all the locked ones?

If I'm not wrong, ET fixed this issue. As long as you keep playing, you shouldn't run out. You can search for a thread on compasses that was relevant up to the Crusader States. |

I was shocked to see them pop-in the normal shop sometimes after the update for 12000 coins. So that's a new way to get them. I'll add it to the guide.
Ralyks , you might add that if you achieve hegemony before turn 20 in Crusader States, France Crusaders won't join. That's a given for all conquests. To achieve hegemony, you have to be left over in the map only by yourself and allies. If you manage to get it before an invader joins, you dont have to defeat him as he didnt show up yet. I thought this was logical, but I can add some note about it on a general tips section, not conquest specific.
Sadly, we are still unsure on which are the triggers for some of these invaders.

Who's the invader on downfall of byzantine conquest and at which turn will they appear? Timurids ( Not really kinda close though) and Genoese mercs Anatolia and the black sea respectively The Genoese mercs from the Black sea appear only after you beat the Timurids looking army |
