Update on Zhukov's Biography chapter 4 to 3 star. Started as i described in earlier post, killing as many enemies as possible around target cities without capturing. Luckily i was on Belarus' city in far west by 10 th round and had only captured one city, hoping thois would delay allies from chatging. Sadly, they seem to breal ranks and charge headlong into enemy on round 10, and not by amount of cities captured. Needless to say, i cracked cities and neutralized defenders, parasniping, and lastly capturing the North East city i left with sole enemy defender, dropped missile and made Yamamoto an Airborne Ranger to capture and complete mission by 11th round and all 3 stars.
Upgraded my BM21 with that last reward. 😉

Eisenhower Challenge.
In second phase, you are asked to make sure 3 of 4 Allied Commanders in this scenario, survive. Patton, Montgomery,w on tanks, Alexander on infantry, and Cunningham on HMS Prince of Wales.
Needless to say, Alexander get himself killed before even beaching, and Montgomery and Patton try bodysurfing with sharks before, barely making it ashore with a fraction of starting health., which means they die a round or two soon after, before i can do anything.
I had to put commanders on just about every starting Unit at sea, just to get water ballet performing Monty, and Patton to land. With Guderian on a starting supertank, I managed to get on the beachhead and punch through towards nearest city leaving the elite unit enemy general with barely a breath of life....and next turn Patton captures it...and makes like a fatkid squatter who found a donut depot. I needed it to help Monty before he died on the westernmost coastline.
Longstory short.... I hate these, defending suicidal ally, challenges, but I got 'er done!
Anyone else running into problems with these?

Anyone else running into problems with these? Yeah, this kind of protecting suicidal ally is ridiculous, luckily you only need to protect 3 from 4 since Alexander is almost certainly killed himself, while Cunningham can protect his own life. Good thing is that we only need to help them land and get the nearest city, and they're goin nowhere since that.
