This is a work in progress, but I will post what I wrote so far in a different thread into here as a starting point for the guide writing:
You have other solution how can beginner clear conquest in 65 turns?
You already have the answer: Japan 1939, no need for PMI. I will spilt this down in pieces:
Intro: Why should I pick Japan 1939?
It's in the easiest era: 1939, check.
It's on the advantaged side for the particular conquest: Axis, check.
It starts with a larger country: has 3 stars, check.
It starts with tons of generals available to you regardless of how many you have in your HQ: check check.
It has a great group of starting generals for both water and land: Yamamoto, Yashimta, others, check check check.
It starts with a relatively isolated position not so surrounded by enemies: check.
It does have access to a large area readily available for conquest: China and SE Asia (including Phillipines), check.
It faces the weak side of USSR instead of the strong side: Far East not Moscow, check.
Same idea with other global powers on the enemy side: UK & France, check check.
It has to fight less powerful generals spawned from USA in comparison to Europe: check.
It does have easy access to set aside an aircraft carrier specifically to eventually kill Blamey in Brisbane: CHECK!
1939 leans toward Axis, a lot easier than Allies for that year (1943 is the opposite). Germany and Japan have a huge amount of generals at the beginning for you to use plus your own generals (but you start with almost none of your own generals and you don't need to purchase one yet). Japan is easier to finish inder 65 because there's less enemies surrounding you, but you CAN'T just sleep. Every turn should be used wisely to make good progress. Like bringing some reinforcements, or a push to grab a city, or to cut down some enemies if you need to reach a city.
Once the first targets are all done around your starting position
You might want to expand from China/Mongolia toward India/Thailand then Saltingrad and take over Russia from there. Going directly through central Asia to take over Russia wastes too much time moving without attacking, and you still need to conquer India anyway. Make it worthwhile by going a little south than most people would normally go for.
While you're in Europe, if you're already gaining 1,000 to 2,000 gold per turn or over...you can save up 3,000 to 4,000 gold then take over every connected airports much as you can in one turn.
Quick tip
Good place to take Africa from is taking Cairo from Egypt then the East Africa and Central Africa is taken easily from the air too. Make sure to produce some Armored Cars from Cairo, they have a strong bonus against infantry defenders.
Warning about North America
You will have to learn how to invade the North America continent effectively with a group of armies plus battleships/carriers/whatever fleet support.
If you're invading from Ireland (after you killed UK), aim for the Canadian shore east of their cities and use their cities as a base against NYC and DC.
An invasion from the Pacific works better going from Japan aiming for Alaska or Vancouver (after you made good progress and took over China). You can't really produce a lot of good troops from Anchorage, so the tanks, armored cars and MI will have to come from Japan and cross the Pacific to Vancouver and spread from there (don't waste a lot of troops going north to the little Alaskan city). Push hard for all of California.
Ireland to Canada, Japan to Anchorage/Vancouver: Those two are the best ways to invade America if I assume Spain didn't fall apart. If you need to reclaim Spain from American troopers, Spain can serve as a launching point to an invasion of Florida for you. But I hope Spain doesn't collapse and waste your time.
Quick tip about the infamous ^%$*6\# Blamey!
Remember, for the Axis side, the hardest city to capture is Brisbane where Blamey is.
A cheesy tactic for Japan (but it works well if you prepare in advance): Don't forget to capture the Hawaiian Islands early, then produce a few air carriers from there, move it toward Brisbane (but not too close!) Use the air carrier(s) to continually bomb Blamey's HP down to zero and kill him without getting hurt. Once he's dead (and you should have already taken over Thailand/Indonesia and Western Australia during that bombing each turn), use the leftover troops from Western Australia to take Brisbane, Australia defeated, move on to America and bombard San Francisco or Alaska, but SF is still a good target, just don't expect to be able to cross the Colorado mountains quickly to reach Denver without Motorized Infantry or Armoured Cars.[/font]
PMI (para-Motorized-infantry) isn't a realistic goal for a beginner. A beginner usually have too low resources to upgrade techs that high so early.
