For Empire age there are 50 in Carolingian Empire 5 and 50 in Glory of Empire 5. Yay! I won't need to farm! |

Very close in concept to army groups in GoG3  But try to unlock princesses in Cairo and Cruzco as soon as possible. |

I think it's much more boring than army groups because of how you have to siege every city and break down walls even when there is no enemy army. In army groups, you get more generals and you can autobattle a lot more because you don't have to worry about all the walls. |

I finished an Inca conquest yesterday, and it got very boring very fast. I think it's much more boring than army groups because of how you have to siege every city and break down walls even when there is no enemy army. In army groups, you get more generals and you can autobattle a lot more because you don't have to worry about all the walls. Also you have no allies so you have to conquer every city by yourself and you have to do a lot of it manually because you can only autobattle when your troops are like 2 ages higher. In Army Groups, we can sometimes pay our allies to win instead of doing it yourself. |

But we can't avoid playing at least some of them. First, you have to play all conquests one by one to be able to collect all rewards. So, if you haven't completed two star Empire age conquest - you won't be able to collect rewards for completing two star Discovery age conquest. And, second, rewards are really good in late conquests. For example, we get a legendary Keel sword for completing Gunpowder age conquest. So, playing at least 18 conquests (plus Rognarok) is unavoidable. |

You can evade the enemies, destroy the wall and Destroy the city. |

You can evade the enemies, destroy the wall and Destroy the city. Yeah, sure, I only meant that it isn't easy to do so on auto. Most likely our generals will be just destroyed by towers. Conquests are an easy part of the game, but most of the time you have to play it with your own hands. My epic failure was when I played as China and had twice as many cities as the next Great Power. I switched it to auto, and AI lost it. I don't trust auto conquests anymore. |

IMO, the most efficient way to farm Literature in Conquest is to initiate auto-battles, but do not let the AI control your troops. Then again, Saladin with Gungnir, Li Shimin with half a Titan set and Nobunaga Oda and Atilla with two halves of a Paladin set can solo cities. They can even take on cities with garrisons on their own, but you'll just have to check if enemies with perfect counters are guarding said cities. |

I agree, I usually auto-intiate the battles and just mobilize and deploy troops myself. Using this method, I was able to win every conquest level except ragnarok. Not every country, just every conquest level. |

I think Lionheart's 1st and 4th Crusade missions have some literature. Not sure, but Jeanne d'arc's 2nd and 3rd mission may also have some. I don't remember the reward but Koxinga's Revenge (5th mission in his campaign) does have a market in the bottom left, just beside the city you need to destroy to ensure Korean loyalty. 4 years late lol but that gives 40 diamonds. I checked an hour ago and was bummed out to see it wasn't literature, but did enjoy the diamonds as I'm always low on those (Cuzco, Borte, Aztec Princess, and many princess buildings eat up my diamond stock) |

It’s really funny how i have soo much literature banked because after castles you never touch them. I havent bothered with industrial castles because they cost relics and relics are necessary to max out artifacts
