Yup. Exciting conquests are amazing to do. Even if they’re hard, you feel very immersed. Beating records are some of the most exciting fun I've personally had in EW6. You cannot imagine my happiness when I did the 16 turn Prussia 1798 run. I'm gonna try a 14 turn HRE run when I have time to play again. I think it's possible. Good luck. Once I complete the game, I will do all of the conquests in the game, just for fun.

How did you get rid of spain so fast.

Good luck. Once I complete the game, I will do all of the conquests in the game, just for fun. Except tribal union! Tribal union isn’t even that bad. Aboriginal militia is strictly better than normal militia and aboriginal cavalry has 305 hp, 42 def, for 75 G. You can spam super hard since your units are really cheap and insanely tough for their price. It was like Morocco 1815 but spammier.

It is so cringey using trible units

An army of Aboriginal Cavalry can be as dangerous as some Musket Cavalry if well-commanded. Even a huge militia army can be tough to defeat, because normally only the most powerful generals can one-shot a Militia unit. And due to their price, they can be replaced easily. It’s even worse if said armies are commanded by an aura general.

So I get 5-6 turns to beat Spain. 4 cav gens can do it if Portugal doesn’t epic fail. I also think HRE can beat the 3 star record since their army is enormous and can reach Spain in like 6 turns.

Good luck. Once I complete the game, I will do all of the conquests in the game, just for fun. Except tribal union! The Iroquois would be interesting. Since Mexico and Canada are mostly focused about taking America out, you could sneak into their cities and weaken them, or even capture them yourself. This would at least create a diversion. It's debatably harder, though, because Mexico and Canada are much more powerful than Algeria if you were the Tribal Union, and you have two hostile powers and a friendly power, not two friendly powers and one hostile power.

Out of boredom, I did a Rhine conquest without generals and military tactics. Unexpectedly, I got a S-rank.

Hard nations that aren’t difficult to survive as = Doesn’t need generals, just good tech. Hard nations that are difficult to survive as = Need good generals and tech.

With the countries that are hard, but that have good survivability, you just need to spam militia to keep your cities. This will cause whoever is attacking you to waste a lot of resources, meaning that their fight against your allies will be weaker than usual. Since you’re playing as a country with good survivability, most of the time the enemy isn’t strong enough to kill a militia unit and capture the city right after, if your tech is good. Eventually the enemy will stop sending troops towards you because they either realize that they are being pushed back, or that their economy isn’t big enough to continue the attack. This will allow you to mount a counterattack and strike the enemy. With a country like Sardinia 1798, however, it’s another story. Your economy isn’t good enough to keep the milita spam and you’re isolated from your allies, meaning that there is almost nobody to come and attack the enemy and make their cities vulnerable to occupation. Thus, you need also great generals.

The other country that is pretty bad is Morocco. Landing in Spain is a huge issue (but I think I did pull it off once successfully). 1815 is a bit different. 1815 is where you absolute have to play as fast as possible or you lose. Oh and the enemy has maxed out tech, marshal generals, and the best items in the game.
