I never really got into Battlefield. I got battlefield 4 and sucked at multiplayer (my experience in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 helped me in no way, shape, or form) and I didn't really like the story. So what, (spoiler alert) China detonated an EMP and took out most of the Pacific fleet, give me something different like a Battlefield version of Titanfall, another great game. The only reason to play the story is in order to unlock the 3 exclusive weapons (M249, P90, and a QB something (the last one sucks while the first two are very good)). Multiplayer can be alot of fun. It's a perfect middle for me between non tactial (CoD) and highly tactical (RB6S) Sir, if I'm not playing Total War Rome 2 or Civ 5, walls of meat is about as tactical as I want things to be. I KEEP PRESSING LIKE INSTEAD OF EDIT!
