You can, but it would be hard. I have Massena, Karl, Barclay, Murat, Blucher, Mahmud II and Lan, the last 2 not upgraded. I also have a max princess sophia for that 20 % damage reduction. I placed Karl, Massena and Barclay in the Prussian front, while i let Blucher and Murat just do whatever they want in the Peninsula. What i learned is that it's better to just go straight for Spain's capital as early as possible, after you defeat the Spanish generals of course. I did this the first time, and the Spanish Peninsula was easy. But i misplayed in the Prussian front, so restart. Second time, i didn't go straight to Madrid, but rather i let the majority of my forces go for Sevilla via the south, which let the Portuguese a free passageway in the center and north. They were able to recapture my cities, it pissed me off, restart. But in the Prussian front, i did well, until i didn't. British were sending their forces to me, which were annoying, but not much of a threat. I went straight to capture Berlin, and the Russians started sending their units to attack me. Easily repelled. I should have either captured Berlin and then return to deal with the Austrians, but i tunneled for a bit and forgot some of my cities. Spamming old guards from berlin, i started capturing the surrounding Prussian cities, but for some reason my income was the same. I realized the Austrians were recapturing the cities i had. That, along with the Spain debacle, restart. Stopped at turn 1 tho, i decided to just farm netherlands 1798 first, and finish France 1815 later. Also, in both instances i played the game, Ney and Davout didn't survive, even with Sophia's city aura. Question: At what point do you start researching/upgrading tech to get like the Old Guards, or the Krupp Cannon? It is really expensive to upgrade tech so... The answer is you don't have to. I only researched the Old guards because i love how strong they are. It's better if you use your resources for donations, or just upgrading your cities in general. But if you don't mind playing it slowly, then just upgrade when you are able to, provided your cities that are being sieged is protected by militias.

You can complete France 1812 if you have good generals(with healing items) and high tech level.
You need to defend from the british attacks in the north (is not hard with militias you can defeat the british army )
You need to add generals in the two cavalry units and in the two imperial guards add generals, build a granadier in bordeux and add a general attack and capture the little city in the north of spain with all of your forces, after capture zaragoza, you can capture barcelona (british navy can attack you) or go to madrid (portugal and british army reforcement spanish) This is your decision and this depend to your skills.
In the eastern frontier, dont attack russia, you will lost how in the real timeline. you can build 2 rockets artillery in paris and add generals and send to the eastern front. All of your troops in poland send to the prusian citys in the north and declare war and captures this citys and after send all of this troops to Berlin (Blucher is not a problem, in almost all the moments he attack Hamburg, you can defend this citys easy). You need to defend your citys in the east from the russian attack with militias. All of your principal army in this front (all generals and elite units) Send to attack Austria (Bavaria, ottomans and Italy help you) this is not very hard. You need to defend your northen citys from the swedish attack.
This is a generals strategy, the situations can be variable, you need good skills (with high tech and generals) to be flexible and win.
You can send your elites troops in spanish penisula to America and send units to africa for help your algerians allies.
Sorry for my english.

I usually just send my generals stationed in Poland to attack the Russians. Was never really invested in completing France 1812 and 1815, since i need to grind for my tech, as my tech isn't the best. As for the Peninsular front, i just send my main force to attack Madrid, then send some diversionary foces to Barcelona.

First I moved and killed Prussia, then Austria, now I'm dealing with the dying Russian spam... On the Spanish front I killed Portugal and the Spanish have only one city left (the one near Morocco) which I am moving my generals too right now. I have decent tech level... Now side question... I have 1400 medals so who should I get, or should I upgrade (I have Murat, Massena, and Alexander 1st)? Dabrowski, Davout, Muhammad 2, or Karl?

If you have good items, then go for generals. Karl or Dabrowski should be a priority. But if you want to go the artillery path, then go for Mahmud. You can also get Barclay, he's cheaper than Karl, but Karl should be better. Dabrowski is also really good, paired with Murat they should destroy any opposition.

Ok, I just got 1980 medals exactly so I can get Karl, Dabrowski, or Mahmud. Side info: My dream lineup would be to have Barclay, Karl, Massena, Mahmud, Dabrowski, Alexander, and Murat. So what should I do?

After that you should be good, so upgrading your general's skill should be your priority. After that, finish the remaining challenges.
