So a similar thread appears in one of the EW6 boards so I decided to make one for EW4. Your thoughts on the worst 4 or 5 star country to play as
I think its either Rhine 1806 or Spain 1809, as in both cases you aren't given very good gens and face one or more powerful enemies (Prussia, Russia, Austria, UK as Rhine and France as Spain)

Since EW6 conquest harder than EW4, I guess the difficulty is based not on how hard the conquest is, but rather the difficulty of finishing a conquest fast. And I'd agree with Horatio Nelson that Spain is annoyingly slow.

Ottomans are annoying slow because unlike HRE, who have Archduke. C, Klenau, and Lusignan (The latter two aren't very good but at least are decent) the Ottomans have very poor commanders in general |

IMO, any of the "corner countries" like Russia, Portugal, Morocco and the Ottoman Empire tend to be annoyingly slow since you have to sweep across the map.
It's the worst in 1815 because of North Africa which has lots of desert, but few things to fight for.

Ottomans are probably the only corner country that I actually really like in EW4. Sure, they’ve got pretty bad generals, but their units are godly. 3-10 atk Guards, 2-12atk Heavy artillery, 4-10atk Heavy and Guard cavalry. My own generals are so good on these uber units.
