You get 2 ambulances, 2 tents, and 3 medkits. So you can give 7 generals healing items. Give the ambulances to the strongest cavalry generals,2 tens to your 2 other cavalry gen, or your strongest infantry gen, then give the 3 medkits to your other generals. You can skip giving artillery gens healing items, or give one a healing item, depending on the situation. Actually, I think Defense and HP items are better than giving them medkits. Depends on the situation. In challenges where I can't swap items, I just give them medkits. In campaigns and conquests , double attack items or attack and HP item

In campaigns and conquests , double attack items or attack and HP item For me, the medkit doesnt really heal fast enough. most challenges are 10-20 rounds which is around 100-200hp restored, which isnt as amazing as royal guards clothes which can make them last on the battlefield longer. Uh a medkit doesnt really save my general in a bad situation, a hp/defense item can.

Also, it can be a difference of 120 damage and 90 damage. But generally speaking, medkits are better for artillery gens. Giving 2 medkits to a general is also good

Sustain with offense is better most of the time. Offense is the best defense, and sustain can help you maintain that offense to an acceptable level. Id give prussian helmet and royal guards clothes to dominion militia. Marshal and royal guard clothes can boost dominion militia hp to 550 thereby regenerating 22-23 hp per turn.

Offense is the best defense if you aren't getting swarmed by enemies . Problem is that the lower your health gets, the lower your damage gets. Depends on the situation really, but i'd say giving your strongest unit the royal guard clothes will be more useful in the long run.

But if you have an ally to back them up, they wont get flanked from one side. But with three generals standing side by side, enemy wont be able to flank you. It also helps having marshall rank for each general your going to keep .

But for the harder campaigns and challenges, where the enemy forces are usually larger than your own, it's better that they survive. Although, i should have been more specific that the aura gens should survive, while your other strong non-aura gens, like lan or Suvorov, get the attack boosting items, so they can be the ones to deal damage, and even if they die, you still have your aura gens.

Any ideas what to give my John? Or what to do with him? He needs something. But idk what. I barely finished Battle of Eylau with one star. It just felt like he weren't moving quickly enough.

I gave him high explosives which makes him almost as good if not better than my Napoleon when on combined tiles.

I just got him Napoleon to top off his skills kinda late 😂. So Artillery telescope should be my first buy for john. After I finish his title upgrade it seems. Think I might have to actually get a second ambulance/ tents for messena or Murat, they got a beating today in Prussia's challenges. I'm about to cave for an easy finish..
