They all are eligible for 3rd cav slot. If you got Blucher just use Dabrowski. I still can't decide who to get. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.

This is just these 3 guys. Nobody else Lan. Ney has some sick crit damage , and with the buff of Murat and Dabrowski , will one shot infantry , but Lan consistently out damages Ney slightly. She also reaches emperor, but Ney has a higher cavalry ability. Davout is also a great choice, especially when his tactics master proc. It all comes down to preference really. I just picked Lan because she has the cheapest cost.

Davout is gold so he must be best. Lan is a princess first, a general second. Regardless, just get King Davout. Or you can go Blucher-Murat-Dabrowski and add Davout if you want more fun with horses.

"Or you can go Blucher-Murat-Dabrowski and add Davout if you want more fun with horses." I understood that differently for a second, if ya know what i mean. But yeah, Davout is the best, but only slightly, and considering his price, it's better to get Ney or Lan. But if you can afford to, get Davout.

Lan is better, more cheap and with better skills. Davout is good but in the final challenges (crimean war) Tactics master is only useful agaisnt weak enemys. He normal damage is low.

Does that mean Unit abilitie is meaningless?

Does that mean Unit abilitie is meaningless? Lan has more skills which makes her damage more consistent, surprise attack gives 8% damage when standing still up to 20% damage when moving at the max hex. Maneuver makes barriers useless, and Lan reaches emperor, while Ney only reaches king. I think the BA and UA are calculated separately, and then combined afterwards, and since they are converted to percentage, i think that makes Lan's damage a bit higher. Dunno the conversion rates so, i can be wrong. If i am wrong, the first two arguments i gave, having 2 skills and reaching emperor makes her more consistent in damage.

Ignore Barriers doesn't sounds that useful so its 10% critical damage vs 8-20% attack bost from suprise attack + 10 points more battle abilitie. What is Lan's max battle abilitie when reached emperor?

What is Lan's max battle abilitie when reached emperor? Not sure, my lan is still a prince. Ignore barriers is situational, but it's really helpful in campaigns and challenges where there are numerous barriers around.

IMO davout is number one. But if you have a different opinion, get either one of them. All of them are great, it just gets down to which one suits your playstyle better.
