I have 3 IAP, Murat, Davot, Karl, Massena, Alexander, Nelson, Gates, Jourdan. I'm thinking of dropping Gates (since he's useless) and getting a 4th art. Other option is dropping Gates and getting a 4th inf. What/who do you guys think is best?

Swap Gates with either Dabrowski /Barclay / Mahmud II. You cant go wrong with more aura.

I'm about halfway through Crimean war, everything else is 3 starred |

How many total slots you have? Also what campaign are you on? 11 slots including the ones the iap generals go in, so i'm currently full but have Jourdan and Gates to drop for better gens. I'm about halfway through Crimean war, everything else is 3 starred Dabrowski, since infantry are usually banned in crimean war challenges. Mahmud is also another great choice. Another navy gen like Sakurako or Treville may be needed to 3 star the challenges where you are on ships, or at least make it easier to 3 star. |

I prepare to kick Clinton out of my slots Max their commander skills, after that you can go for other gens, and i recommend Barclay or Ney. Barclay because 2 infantry gens is good enough for most campaigns, while Ney is just good. Get Alexander I after that. |

Thanks for your advices, and this is my team now, I'll grind medals for 3rd Inf: Washington or Barclay, or 2nd Navy Gen: Hood or Sakurako  |

SegerEither Dambrovsky or in case You feel You need better artillery gen to replace Jourdan: Alexander I / John Personally I like infantry and would take Barclay, but I progressed with IAP so cavalry (to help Murat) will probably be better for You.

So then, Dabrowski(preferably Blucher).
You already have a great Infranty team.
