So, i've taken some interest in the title of "World's fastest conqueror", and have been planning to try and claim the title. And finally, i have a shot. I've been messaging Saltin for some conditions to get the title, and he suggested i post maybe 1 or 2 speed runs that i did with pictures and commentaries. So i've decided to do 2 conquests, which are 1798 and 1815. The first one i'll post is that of 1798, which i managed to finish in 29 turns using Russia.
Turn 1:
My general strategy for this conquest was to push towards Spain as fast as possible, while sending some of my units towards the Ottomans. Generally, i ignore Paris and the Danes, and would rely on the Prussians, British and Swedes to finish them off for me. This turn, i am setting up my units so i can capture Poland in 1 turn. I deployed Blucher, Alexander I and Karl on my available units, and i used my resources to build farms and industrial zones. I made a small movement mistake for Blucher, and misclicked and moved him 1 tile less than his maximum movement, which isn't that relevant. As for my units stationed at the border of the ottomans, i simply moved them at the very border to prepare them when the Ottomans inevitably enters the war.
Turn 4 and 5:
At turn 2, upgraded machine bulge, which increases artillery mobility by 2. At turn 3, i trained a siege artillery and placed mahmud in it. Turn 4, i surrounded poland with my forces, while my forces at the south were just chilling down there. I moved my Senyavin towards Trabzon so he can start hitting the city the moment the Ottomans declare war. At turn 5, i declared war on Poland, and was able to capture it in that very turn.
Turn 9:
Turn 9, Prussia is already is in the game, and my forces are pushing downward. The french captured Frankfurt, and some units are blocking my way. I simply took care of them using my cavalry generals, and i clean off resistance that is met in the way. I managed to capture Frankfurt using my cavalry gens, while my slower units are there to simultaneously block the french from surrounding my other units and ally units, and to prepare to push back the French. I started pathing Karl, Kutuzov and Barclay towards the Ottomans. My forces in the Ottoman borders are just stationary, and are simply awaiting for the Ottoman invasion. Originally, instead of pathing Karl, Kutuzov and Barclay, i pathed Murat and Dabrowski towards the ottomans, which i got 32 turns in that conquest. I also donated most of my resources to Portugal so they can keep the Spanish busy, while some of my resources were used to train militia, and as donation to either the Swedes or the Prussians.
Turn 12, 13 and 14:
Turn 12, i still continue pushing towards the Spanish. I train a heavy cavalry and placed Dabrowski in there, thus having 3 aura gens buffing each other. Here, instead of overextending, i focused on killing French generals first so they won't damage my units. I ignored Cologne, since i want the french to waste resources sustaining the city while they get bamboozled by my allies. I just send some militias and Massena to harass the generals spawned there. I sent some of my Cavalry gens forward to clean up and pave way for my artillery and infantry units. In Crimea, i built a stable with the intent of training lancers there. As usual, my forces there are at standby. I also disbanded my unneeded units(mostly militia) to not go over the food production limit, or atleast not so much above it. Turn 13, i wasn't able to get screenshots unfortunately, but nothing uneventful happened, same strat, just pushing towards Spain ,donating to Portugal and moving Kutuzov, Karl and Barclay towards the Ottomans. Turn 14, i made Massena move and stop harrasing Cologne, and just keep a few units nearby, incase my allies are unable to capture it. I pathed Murat, Blucher and Dabrowski so they would be close together, thus the chance of overrunning enemy units and city defenders would increase. I pathed Alexander and Mahmud towards the mountain ranges north of Turin. Kutuzov, Barclay and Karl are still on their way to the Ottomans, while my units stationed there are still chilling. I remember at this point i noticed that the Portuguese only has 2 cities, and one of those cities have no defenders while being surrounded by Spanish forces. This prompted me to stop donating to them, but Miraculously, they were able to hold out until turn 20 without my donations. I started donating to Prussia so they can both help me push towards Spain, and help the Swedes beat Denmark.
Turn 18:
I already captured Turin, Lyon, and at the verge of capturing Toulouse. The Sardinians captured Corsica, and was able to capture Marseille. As for my forces in the south, i managed to capture Belgrade and Sarajevo. It was the correct call to send 2 infantry gens and Kutuzov instead of Murat and Dabrowski, which were able to capture the 2 cities in 2 turns. As for the black sea, i trained a corvette to help Senyavin in preventing the Ottomans from sending forces to my cities, while also attacking Trabzon. Luckily, during this turn, they didn't spawn any militia to defend Trabzon, so Bennigsen was able to capture it.
Turn 20:

I was able to capture Athens, and only Bucharest and Istanbul remain in Bulgaria. Here, the enemy Mahmud didn't move, and would be ganged up by the Austrians. As for my boys in the black sea, i upgraded Trabzon to city 4, and started spamming Grenadiers there. I also started to formulate multiples blasts in my military facilities, which helped me greatly in conquering the rest of the Ottoman cities. Meanwhile, my main force has already made contact with the Spanish. My infantry and Cavalry gens focused on Zaragoza, while Alexander and Mahmud with the help of some units would attack Barcelona. Portugal lost at this turn, and it was thanks to them that i met little Spanish resistance on my way to Madrid.
Turn 23 , 25 , 26:
I sent Murat, Blucher and Dabrowski towards Madrid, while i sent my infantry gens towards A Coruna and capture the nameless cities on the way. Alexander, Mahmud and Raevsky would capture the southern cities and path towards Sevilla. As you can see in the first pic in turn 23, i sent an injured siege artillery unit towards palma, and as i ended my turn, i regretted sending just that unit ( although i built a corvette to escort it ). Surprisingly, it survived despite the fact an enemy navy gen was nearby. As for the Ottoman front, the Ottomans are badly losing, and Istanbul would fall at turn 24. Damascus and an unnamed city would remain, and my forces there would easily capture those last 2 cities in 3 turns. Turn 25, my miracle siege unit captured Palma, my artillery gens are doing work and would capture Sevilla soon, Madrid would fall to my cavalry gens, and my infantry gens are busy at the north. Here was where i started to panic slightly, since it seems that i won't be able to finish the conquest in less than 30 turns. France hasn't fallen yet, since some cities remain. This was probably where i made the biggest mistake thus far in the game : i ignored the French cities and thought that my allies would be able to capture them easily, and also not training units so i can capture all the remaining Spanish units faster. Dunno what entered my mind, but i should have trained riflemen and artillery units, and if i did i may be able to finish 1 or 2 turns earlier. Turns out, you can never trust your allies. Turn 26, Madrid falls, i'm preparing to capture all the remaining Spanish cities. I was captured the city Ankara, thus ending the Ottoman rule and they lost during this turn. I then disbanded all my units stationed there.
Turn 28 :

At turn 27, i started building artillery units and grenadiers to finish off the French, while i was just cleaning up the Spanish. Turn 28, Still the same, preparing the close of the game by capturing the last cities of the enemy. Nothing spectacular happened, except i got unlucky and didn't have one more unit to capture the last French city. I was pissed off that i became stingy and didn't build some units earlier to close the game sooner.
Final turn (turn 29):
France falls after i capture their last city. As for Spain, i actually felt a bit disappointed that i may not be able to finish them this turn. But after seeing the range of movement of Murat and Dabrowski, i was able to breathe i sigh of relief. Most of the screenshots here are just to show their final positions before the final city falls. In the back of my mind, i thought that after capturing A Coruna, the victory screen won't show. But it turns out those were false.
My other conquest, that of 1815, would be posted later. It took me an hour to simply upload all the pictures and comment on what i did ( i had around 90+ screenshots, and didn't add some of them). I finished this conquest in around 1 hour and 30 minutes (screen capture consumes a lot of time) Also,it's possible to finish the game earlier if i didn't become stingy, but for now, i'm contented with 29 turns. As for the 1815 conquest, took me more than 3 hours to complete, and i guess more than an hour to post all the screenshots(200+ screenshots). I'll just post the victory screen of the 1815 conquest here, then post the other pictures later.
Also, Saltin,Mountbatten,Erich von Manstein, is this enough, or do i have to do more conquest speed runs?
