First of all i want to greet this awesome community from which i learned so much under the robe of the guest!!!
So as the title suggests i may have encountered a possible bug.The blitzkrieg skill seems to be locked for some reason but the mission Blitzkrieg normal is one of the first things you get done in the game so not a chance i havent unlocked it. I cannot add it to any general and cannot upgrade it in generals that already have it (for example Guderian).

Pertaining to your question, skills are not found in campaign missions with the same name, the "Blitzkrieg" mission is just a name for fall weiss, not the mission to gain that skill. Such skills that can be unlocked are found in campaigns with green auras over certain cities, like this one from Operation Barbarossa Axis 7.  To find where to unlock the skill, find the mission from the skills tab where the skills are locked, play that mission and make sure you occupy that city with the green money label(u dont have to win the entire mission just take that city) in order to unlock the skill. |

Hi, Thank you for your time.I do know how to unlock them and yes the needed scenario for the Blitzkrieg skill is in fact the Blitzkrieg Normal scenario. I guess it is a coincidence:). There must be something wrong as another skill(accuracy) that is locked states a specific scenario as the way to unlock it. Indeed when i get into it i can see the special city.The same rule unfortunately doesnt apply when i do the same for the Blitzkrieg skill. Thank you in advance for any replies. I want to add something. I quickly got the accuracy skill unlocked from the accurately (see what i did here  described scenario 7 of Axis (hard mode). So if i can unlock skills in general the issue with Blitzkrieg skill seems to be the exception to the general rule and as such a bug. I think my approach is correct.Feel free to point out anything i missed or think of in a wrong way. |

If it is a bug then do provide screenshots, i have a question, is the green aura in the bonus city in your blitzkrieg mission still there? If you have unlocked the skill the green icon shld disappear |

I took a screenshot of Guderian with the skill that cannot be upgraded and one with Yamamoto that doesnt have it and cannot get it. The other photo is Blitzkrieg Normal where no city has the special aura around it and or the dollar in its upper right.

yep at this point I can confirm it is a bug... since deleting and reinstalling game is dangerous due to wc4's notoriety of not saving your progress, I am afraid I do not have any solution to help you. We need a third opinion on this, maybe jamesyang, can help |

ultimately if no official help is available then this method should work: Ensure that all conquests and campaigns that have not been completed are done so, and that you have cloud saved your account progress. After checking very thoroughly, screenshot the saved game folder, all the resources and all the generals with their upgrades you have, and ur technology tree with all the wonders unlocked, afterwards delete and reinstall the game. This is to prevent you from losing your data as wc4 is notorious for

It is understandable if the skill is not earned when AI allies occupy the city (because it is not the player who tried to earn it) but if you've been conquering that city for no change, then there must be a bug.

Barbarossa was just an example by me, his bug is where he cant get the bonus city reward of the Blitzkrieg skill in the mission: Blitzkrieg(first axis campaign in 1939) |

Unfortunately i lost any hope we can fix this. I unistalled and reinstalled got my data back but the problem is still there.
We have to wait for official support.
