In the East, you had Ludendorff and Hindenburg quick-scoping the Russians (Half of the Russian troops didn't have guns :3 ).

WW 2 because innocent civilians were killed due their nationality, religion, race, thinking or innocence. In WW1 mostly soldiers died (which is sad too). By the way about the title: I know I do not speak English fluently but isn't it: which war was worse?
