also you could get Karl. Sorry i forgot. Sorry for kind of post spamming. Too late, I bought Murat about a week ago. Need to get him an ambulance though. Murat,is your go to general, once you get him up to speed(cavalry command skill) Paired with Blucher even better.

It is, of course, my personal opinion, but, to say the truth, I never could understand why Davout is so popular amongst players. I think than even Ney (let alone Dabrowski) is better because Plain fighting is the second best skill in the game. My guess is that it is because of Tactic Master, but this skill is a double edge sword for a close fight unit. I wish I had it for an Artillery general (For a Navy general it is also quite efficient, especially when you have range advantage), but for a cavalry general it is a curse as well as blessing. And Station is also a very situational skill, because 9 times of 10 we will attack. Ney or Lan on plains simply outperform Davout in every respect. So if I had to make a decision - who is the best companion for two Commanders (Murat+Dabrowski) - my choice would be between Ney and Lan. And both of them are far more cheaper than Davout.

I must admit I hadn't really spent any time looking at Davout, I was just going off his apparent popularity. Next up for me will probably be Alexander anyway, then likely another inf, so plenty of time to think about if a third cav is needed.

I world take First the second inf, because art is just not So good. It's useful but infantry And cavalary are better and you already have jourdan the best free general.
