Hey there, guys! A quick description of my status:
Massena: L General, Prince 1, Aura and assault 5*, Beck rifle, med pack, 20% crit medal;
Murat: King I, L General, Aura and precision strike 5*, plane 3*, cav commander medal, tent;
Lan: M General, Prince 2, tent, 10 HP buff item, all skills either 2 or 3 stars;
Sophia: King 1, L General, telescope, med pack, 10 % crit medal, salvo 5*;
Falsen and Jourdan nearly stock.
I'm stuck at Prussian campaign (no reward claimed), and still missing all the 1815 rewards (no firepower to go through it). Also kinda stuck on either Spanish War and Prussian War challenges. Still plenty of medals to claim, but I'm having trouble to get them.
I'm here yearning for Karl and Mahmud, but, right now, being stuck, I can't get so many medals, I'm doing Netherlands 98 non stop. I'm felling tempted to go for lannes instead of Karl or even Barclay, because they are so expensive, not to talk about the upgrades.
Also, my techs are kinda Meh, but each upgrade is now about 35k gold...
In the end, my question is, where to move next? The grind seems so slow that I will most likely lose interest in game before I can get near those good generals. How to direct my grind more effectively? Should I focus on getting a new general, or only improving what I have...? What would be the least painful path in your experience?

As others said, upgrade your general and then sell it. You can got a rank already in 1815 based in your gens.

You are in good shape,Murat at king,have you upgraded his cavalry command skill? You have Sophia and Jourdan,although lack any arty aura,so maybe Napoleon or Alex,Mahmud is the way to go. Improve Massena as well,as he will get you through tough times. Build on your techs,mainly by daily challenges. As for grinding, it's best to go with Netherlands. Protect your coast from the Brits,try get Cologne,Frankfort or Berlin, then you go for Russia to end it early as possible. Britian will fall if you aid your allies,although you may have to assist. |

OH, and yes, Murat has already level 6 commander with the medal, can't get better lok
So, your call would be no more upgrades, but going for Karl the beast first?

Wow, it hurts to read about needing all Aura infantry generals. It will take so long. I'm beating Netherlands 98 in around 45 turns, but it is starting to get a bit boring... OH, and yes, Murat has already level 6 commander with the medal, can't get better lok So, your call would be no more upgrades, but going for Karl the beast first? you can also do an auto conquest, such as prussia 1798 you have to kill warsaw and then you can put it on auto. there are more but you can make 50 per night if you dare;) and yes save up for karl. |
