They don't seem to show up in the shop very often. Is that normal or am I just unlucky?

They don't seem to show up in the shop very often. Is that normal or am I just unlucky? they are rare especially when you are looking for them, but the shop refreshes so often that you will find them anyway.

They don't seem to show up in the shop very often. Is that normal or am I just unlucky? I got ambulances fairly quick,it could be you are unlucky. Tents,med kits,any defense attire you can afford,,get them as well. Build temples behind front lines so your generals can rest.

Tents,med kits,any defense attire you can afford,,get them as well. Build temples behind front lines so your generals can rest. Med kits are trash, don't buy one you already get one from a conquest you don't need another one. Damage items like the flint lock pistol are better.

You can get up to 3) medkits,if you can complete a certain conquest.

Put your ambulances on your favorite hard hitting generals,such as cavalry. Tents on infranty,(they capture and hold cities) Medkits on artillery, since they take less damage. Any others left over, on navy.

Any others left over, on navy. Med kits are only useful in a conquest or a long campaign when you can tactical retreat and have the 5-10 turns the time to heal 50-100hp.

Two med kits = 1 tent. For example, we have 3 Cavalry generals, 3 Infantry generals and two Artillery generals. Let's suppose it is the best possible (as I see it) combination: Murat-Dabrowski-Ney Karl-Massena-Barclay Alex-Mahmud.
Murat - pistol+ambulance. Dabrowski - lance+ambulance. Ney - sceptre+helm Karl - rifle+tent. Massena - rifle+tent. Alexander - telescope+guards uniform. Mahmud - high explosive+military suit.
The question is what to give to Barclay? I think two med kits are best possible items in this situation.

I have Bismarck maxed, with 2 ambulances, him on a grenadier makes him a very powerful push general

there is a artillery telescope and a (naval) telescope item. and I usually go fully offensive on my arty generals with the +20/+15 BA swords
