inspired by stoic I thought of playing ew6 without aura gens, the first question was of course immediately what kind of team? I thought of paget, ney and lan washington, suvorov and bolivar (bismarck is better but it is too expensive) scharnhorst and finally hood or moltke or something (kutuzov is way too expensive) |

It is not a piece of cake to beat EW6 WITH aura generals  I would like to see an attempt to do it WITHOUT them! Especially the Crimean war insane missions. |

Step 1: buy ney, because you're to lazy to do a conquest and get Bolivar
Step 2: DO NOT UPGRADE HEAVY INF, Why you're asking? Because line infantry is the only usefull ( not special units ) who is heavy inf So it's useless till you have enough money.

What do mean by HEAVY INF.?
I know of many infrantry types,but no "heavy infrantry"comes to mind.

For people Who don't know infantry is divided between light and medium armor. Yet from your example,Highlanders who are medium,receive more damage than Elite light infty. [Edit] Just noticed,the Duke there,that changes the data a bit😁 |

You can certainly try it. There are also tons of good non-aura generals out there.
Inf: since they don't buff normal troopers, I'll consider cost-efficiency more. Lannes, Suvorov, Grant/Washington.
Cav: Lan, Ney, Paget/Davout.
Arty: John, Scharnhorst.
Navy: Hood/Victoria.

Gates,Clinton are won also Jourdan,so with that team one could easily breeze thru the American,Canadian missions easily,perhaps a easy conquest or two thus saving medals for better generals. |
