Have fun BTW What kind of places do Americans go on vacation? Europeans go to France, Spain and Italy and more and more to Croatia for long holidays, and to Amsterdam, London, Paris and Barcelona for a city trip

Have fun BTW What kind of places do Americans go on vacation? Europeans go to France, Spain and Italy and more and more to Croatia for long holidays, and to Amsterdam, London, Paris and Barcelona for a city trip Well I'm a native German, lol. I moved in with my boyfriend here in America a while back. I have intentions to become an American citizen. My favorite vacation place while I was still in Germany was probably Iceland. Half for religious reasons and the other half because of how beautiful it is! Americans typically vacation in-country. Because America is so large, covers so many different climate types, and has so many different cultures, not a lot of people have a reason to leave the country. My last vacation I actually went to helen, georgia, which is a "germantown" but like a corporatised version, not natural. Anyways, Americans vacation in different parts of America. Like, a New Yorker wouldnt want to vacation in New England lol, but the Midwest for them would be different enough to almost feel like youre in a different country. I've been to America many times before I decided to make it my home, and my family actually owned (past tense) a home in Florida, and I will tell you, Florida is way different from the rest of America. It's kinda like the differences in Russian states. Someone in the capital region would be very different from a Tuvan person, no? Now that I'm in America my favorite place to vacation is St. Augustine. Its all old spanish colonial archaeology, with a massive Spanish star fort, Castillo de San Marcos. interesting vacations and its quite uncommon for this forum to have female members here, what et games do you play?

The landscape in America is of course very varied, but as a European you will understand that I am a bit skeptical about American culture.

Yeah I kinda take it for granted since I've been to America several times before. Honestly America doesn't really have a complete culture, Its more like a blend between European cultures and it's own idiosyncrasies. Then theres also some native cultures mixed in, especially in Hispanic communities where a lot of mesoamerican culture remains.
