I normally take all 3 IAP gens. Even though I know only one worth spending. First, it is kind of support of ET Second, I am too lazy to grind Good reasons Well, I can afford it, but you know my principles would be a shame if you tried parking stars and broke your doctrine xD

Good news is that we can customize our general as we like it. But, I think, historic generals already have their skills and talents. The division between skills and talents seems to be interesting enough. The author says generals will have 2 to 4 skills. It is less than we usually have, but perhaps some of generals will have more than one talent. General customization will give us more degrees of freedom and hence opportunities for new and different strategies. It reminds me former ET games...although in some of those, customization was much, much more expensive than buying a great general! Let's see!

I don't know their income for this or that game, but my suspicion is that WC4 is the most popular (and very likely profitable) project so far... No surprise then that they borrow some ideas... yes impulse to make iaps in wc4 is pretty strong, many members have made purchases before as iap manstein for instance is an essential tool for speed runs. e.g. yuanzhong and friedrich paulus both have manstein Lol, not only WC4 with Manstein, I have all IAP gens/units in every ET games I played. I'm a casual player And about IAPs, GoG2 is the most imbalance game between free and pay player, not WC4

btw im curious, how unfair is gog2 towards f2p players? You need best IAP unit to completely finish the game. And you will meet trouble in PvP and Tournament (AI control other playes teams). And Zeus - best IAP costs 400 USD.

Im guessing not really based on the forum views

But when waiting for GCR, I decided replay this game and completely finish it which I can't do before

I still play all the way back to WC2 and EW4!
