anthony has lowest output by three of them. arminius has highest output but less crit chance. with huo you can reach %45 crit rate which is very high. and suitable for end game. in end game you can buy mobility items and using them by equip-unequip method. so anthony is pretty useless in that stage. lol do you want to reach corner of the map in turn 1? 😂 btw i would prefer huo to arminius or anthony. You put your faith in your crit chance while I put mine in commander skills for x2 Attack . March gives +6 mobility at level 5 which is 2 squares. Geography ensures that regardless of terrain, Anthony moves around all terrain the same. As conquest maps gets bigger I think mobility plays a bigger role. Huo skills are controversial imho. Raid is not very useful as most of the time, attacking a enemy general with higher force than u is suicide.😂Unless you plan to use Huo as a kamikaze general, I can see him being useful in perhaps reach the designation points missions where an overpowered general guard the escape point. For conquest I don’t see Huo being useful as the enemies spawned usually doesn’t have a huge force. And if they do u will avoid them with your generals. I’d argue that raid is good on scipio and huo. If a strong archer for example attacks you, huo’s raid might make the difference in knocking the bubbles and guerilla makes sure he takes as little damage doing it. On scipio, if a strong general attacks a city with scipio in it, he will suffer severely haha. Its not the best skill but still is in the good category for me. Works really well with counterrattack too

xerexes , i dont think generals contribution is too high for conquests. if you are not going for speedrun, for just farming generals are pretty unnecessary. for me generals first usage is campaigns. in campaigns you dont need too much mobility. higher output is better 👍

guys +15 - 20 damage is pretty low compare to total damage. on the other hand i prefer no retalition to twice attack. crit can make difference at least 75-100 which is highest output possibility. you will see what im talking about. after some time anthony wont enough.
at some point you have enough damage to (nearly) kill a legion. this gives you %60 chance attacking again. (cav)

The highest damage output I've seen so far was done by a general controlled by AI (swordsmen) against a cavalry unit. It was a critical damage - 362 damage points. So, the critical damage is really great in GCR, but the frequency is low, I would say...

Guerrilla + Raid + Crit = free massive damage against enemy generals. Squishy though. I never counted on 20% s/l-unfriendly tactics master in EW6 but I'll take a s/l-friendly 50%(with speech and that crossbow thingy).

He's good in one on ones and defending. Raid isn't the best skill, and counter attack isn't great on cavalry, although his other skills are fine.

This guy becomes my favourite non IAPs Cav general to use.If you want quick attack, use Antony but when you find a killing machine to join Hannibal, Huo is the best. He's especially superb in Campaign, where you won't have enough time to replenish all of your units and usually meet "BOSS" with full health at last destination Huo will lead your team to victory. And I keep my promise.

Raid might be not so bad from a practical point of view. Usually we won't sit and wait until our general can replenish 5 units. Just need to give him a defense item. He'll die the moment the enemy turn comes and you have him away near enemies. Archers can just bypass his counterattack raid shenanigans, so clearing out archers would be a priority if you want to make him your win condition. Also, replenishing to 5 units isn't practical, having 2 is enough for high speed play, maybe even 3 if you can afford it

Huo is good, he max critical rate is 50% , a really high, plus guerrilla and assault are good and you can give him oration and he critical attack almost the time.

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, well, the archers have a 20% reduction of attack against heavy armored units, in a scythian archer stack 2 units against a elite guard (seleucid empire) withouth crit around 70- 85 points, very low, but scythian arche is not the best unit.

Thats honestly not bad. Elite guards are powerful units.

After some disappointing discoveries I tend to agree that Huo might be really a nice choice out there:
1. Counterattack + Assault are an excellent defensive combination. And usually I do not neglect defence entirely when I am choosing my generals. "Charge" seems to be working only when we are attacking, thus making counterattack one of the few defensive skills.
2. Guerilla is one possible way to destroy powerful adversaries. The chance is not especially high 20-25%, but it is still better than nothing.
3. Arminius has "Jungle fighting" and my Commander has it. I doubt that both of them will be able to find a suitable square.
4. I thought to exploit Scipio's abilities in counterattack, but again Raid and Charge are (as it seems to me now) exclusively attacking skills.
So, I think now, Huo will be better companion for my Commander than anyone else.
