Syracuse is really easy if you take action against rome asap. Right after beating the wave with the roman general. Than attack the south, it will largely be empty. Don’t forget to bribe the tribe near the illyria kingdom into joining.
If you don’t take rome early on, the spam becomes unbearable and you lose

Finally, I won for all countries in conquering the Punic War.
The game for the Roman allies was much more difficult than for the side of the Carthage. Especially for Allobrogov (3 attempts) and African Mass something ..

 how fast did you guys do it. I did it by splitting up my forces at venice, once section goes to rome the other wipes out the countries to the west |

Illirya is much closer to Rome. Will be far better than Macedonia imo.

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, treveri is actually one. I'll make a guide about it soon. If you look at the Conquest records, it's the country I used to get the lowest turn count for a 1 star nation. Also Seger, treveri would be a green

Great guide, but Idk why syracusse (sicily) is medium and illyria very easy. I did both conquests and syracusse is way easier than illyria. You must defend a while and then conquer all of the rome. On illyria it's harder cause there are more roman legions marching at you, not to mention moneytakers scythians
