For me, he is my only general with Rumour and Marksman which means he keeps his place in my 12 to help mop up medals when doing Drills etc. Flaminius is also there as my only Veteran for the same reason...

I may try this guy out since rumoring actually seems effective in GCR. I mean, when you proc it you just flank an enemy and then take out one stack and they're completely helpless for one turn. And you have a 1/5 chance to do this, for free, since he's an archer. Unfortunately Javelineers hit back for enormous damage and those are the enemies that I want to stun the most.

I can understand this guy, cuz he has an irreplaceable and really powerful talent. I can't understand Putnik. Gold is very valuable in the early game in 1914 since you have to spend it on stuff like the ambulance, tech upgrades and skill upgrades. Anyway, the reason I haven't used him is because I usually refrain from cheap early guys since they often run out of use eventually, which isn't cost effective. This guy won't though... He'll... kinda be like Cadorna except better since he can actually stun whereas Cadorna just immobilizes. He also gets to hit for free. The only question is whether or not I'll get enough deployment slots on later missions for him to be worth fielding. |
