I have Caesar, Hannibal, Spartacus, Commander (infantry), Octavian, Pompey, Antony, Vercingetorix. Do i need more generals? That's should be enough since you got all the IAP generals, even without them, you still got good gens I have the same generals except replace Vercingetorix and Octavian with Arminius and Drusus. Should i purchase agrippa or nah? |

Is Octavian a good choice over Drusus? I think Drusus (if he's Gold-tier) is a beast if he'd been given an Archer Commander or Counterattack

I went with drusus however for the ease of use I also want to go for Drusus as I've made my Commander an Archer... I think he'll be useful in defending objectives.... |

Does anybody know what the max level your generals can upgrade to. I have Mithridtes and Armininus to level thirty but I just wondering if its worth it to spend more money on upgrading my amphitheater.

Apparently, Pacorus I goes up to lvl 30 while the gold gens go up to lvl 45. I don't think I have any silver gens. |

Interesting! Do you know what the max level your buildings around the senate can get? Also I'm kinda confused how the pantheon works. Does it reduce the cost of recruiting troops by said percentage or does it reduce the cost of every thing ie. bribes and belligerence level monetary restrictions...

As for the Pantheon, I think the most notable effect should be the cost of recruiting troops. |

Hmm so does that mean that you have to pick and choose when upgrading your troops between health, attack, defense, and mobility, instead of maxing all of them out?

My only advice is to make your general a narrow specialist. If you decide to make him an Infantry general, - choose your skills accordingly etc. Don't try to cover everything... Sooner or later you will notice that your character lacks in depth. |

Naval commander, Archer Commander, Siege, Jungle Fighting. Was a pretty competent general that wasn’t too expensive to mantain |

As a note, there are a few recommended top gens and the sequence of investment may hinge on your Commander's build. This may help you afterwards in the sense that you probably would not want to buy a gen that doesn't have the same specification as your Commander. The only build that no one has advocated for is a navy centric build (excluding the discussion of land type-navy hybrids). |

The only build that no one has advocated for is a navy centric build (excluding the discussion of land type-navy hybrids). A navy build is a waste. But adding navy commander to your general isn’t. I found myself out of money in gcr quickly, so I couldn’t even afford to max my generals jungle fighting. So advantage, archer commander, and march are out of the question. But you do get a crap ton of navy commander scrolls throughout the game, can afford to give your commander at least 7 stars in navy, and you will wear the africanus uniform throughout most of the game. So losing a slot for navy commander is worth the price imo |
