As my hopes on an official CN version were dashed, I guess, I have no other choice than to play GP version. I did all what was planned - hired two cheapest land generals. But after a couple of hours I have understood several things: 1. I can't repeat the path of those who have IAPs. 2. My progress will be slow and painful, exactly as andrei predicted 3. I won't complete any daily tasks with medals as rewards soon enough. After several seconds of total despair, however , I saw that some things could be done here and now. My question was: What do we need to receive a significant number of daily tasks and complete them? The answer is obvious - gold (for upgrades) and experienced generals. And gold and experience is the most simple part of the game. I tried to beat several conquests, but, first, it is time consuming and, second, my generals don't gain enough experience. So I decided to replay some missions in auto play mode (as I did many times when I was playing WC4). I guess I have found a suitable mission for my current team. It is Punic wars (mission 4, battle of Utica). It is a complete auto play (all what we need is to deploy our generals), chance to win it 100% and our generals gain experience quite well. 60 coins is not an impressive sum, but it is very easy to get them. And we don't have many easy things in this game. So my idea now is to upgrade my current generals up to level 45 and to upgrade Senate as high as possible using this simple method. When I have time I will play missions and conquests, of course... But when I don't - my generals can do some useful things by themselves

stoic , yup, that's the only way you can progress for now:Lvl farm your generals. Although I doubt you can participate forevent t 2,I know you can definitely compete for event 1 since I'm the only one who has submitted for the Android group, meaning 4 slots to go . That will give you a head start. The conquest is tricky, although it's doable with your generals, since you can do it without them. Also, daily missions sck for now, can't even get 1 medal from it.

I thought Android and iOS had one event According to Saltin it's 5 IOS and 5 Android per event. I'm confused to, since the wording isn't specific and can be interpreted both ways. Although I doubt it's a single event, since that would be unfair for Android players . They'll confirm it later anyway, if ever it gets confusing.

expeditions is also good farm method for gold and faster than conquest. first one with 3 star give you 2k gold. second one is 3k. pretty decent, after some time you dont need gold.

I'll do it without any cheap tricks Events are supposed to make it easy for us, and I am not looking for easy ways. On the opposite, I like to beat it without any gifts... Simply because my method is the right one... As chess masters of the past defended their theories

It's not tricks, just some strategy and some luck involved. Although, I suggest you restart if the enemy units outnumber your Gaul allies, it doesn't end well for you. Although I found a way to make it so you can almost guarantee it doesn't happen, which you' ll eventually find out of course . Gonna be frustrating the first try, unless your intuition guided you to the light

I would like to create a perfect plan how to beat GCR and to follow it without any distractions (notwithstanding how tempting they are). Sporadic events (and rewards) can't be a part of the plan Therefore I consider them as distractions

Cons is non really, time wasted maybe, although it's not really a con considering how long the grind for medals in the game would be. Although, if you plan to do it the hard core way and forgo any events so you can suffer more, know that I support whatever decision you may have .

You know, it could be difficult indeed and probably I will send my principles to hell and earn every single medal out there But for now I prefer to stick to my plan

stoic, you won't be breaking your principle. Besides, it's not something that completely derails your plan. Just a minor detour with a large probable reward .

I bought him for that reason. Turned out really dissappointing (pacorus on the hand is quite great)

stoic, we were laughing at morale boosting skills when we played EW6. Now it's one of the most powerful talent in the game. Who knew
