I know it, because you and marshal of the weed are talking about every general in every thread possible. While the ew6 players moved on to the next game.

GCR really helped you rank up surprisingly fast. Thing is the statistics for this came up slightly earlier than before Gone was active

I think there is a number of reason for the popularity of WC4 over EW6. First, WC4 really felt like an improved version of the previous game in the series, with the new units and the new system that removed the so hated border gore. Instead, EW6 did not really feel like an upgrade, but actually like a downgrade from EW4 in many aspects, from the reduced number of conquests (only 3, from 6 as the previous game had) to the quality of the map (we got from one of the most realistic maps of Europe we got until Great Conqueror Rome to that very squished and disproportionate Europe). Second, there may be the "replay-ability" of the game. If you grew tired of vanilla WC4, you could always get to play any of the mods. But you can't do the same with EW6. It's also because of us, the community, that we screwed up last year and made EasyTech ban mods, but the game just feels boring after some time, especially if you did not understand how to play it.

CountVonNumenor , how and why did et ban mods? Btw ew6 mods are unlocked now which i will announce in the newsletter It happened last year because just a couple of days after EW6 was released on Android, someone came with a hacked apk that had resource hack and a button that could auto-win every campaign level. Now, since the unlocked apk is avaible, I think they lifted the ban. There was also a big purge last year on EFC that banned any kind of resource hack in mods, plus it coincide with the time jamesyang joined as ET representative.

lol... I talked with jamesyang and he said that et allowed resource hacks. Im not sure whether he meant what he said or was referring to smth else, but it seems likely given the general attitude and methods of the modding community.

I think that wc4 is more popular than ew6 because I personally found wc4 more challenging thus more people are asking for helps and the potential of different methods to play this game (with different sets of general and different sequences of purchases and upgrades) whereas there are not much options in ew6, also not many people, specially the ones who have played the earlier versions of ew are not much impressed by ew6.

You make medium size reward instead of 999999

You make medium size reward instead of 999999 medium? 400000? Lol. Anyways I have seen people having mods that have a general price of negative medals ---> when you buy a general you earn money. Since its a "mostly" it still runs very rampant imo, and Im getting the feeling that et has given up on anti cheat policing and enforcements

The best answers and most valuable thoughts will be featured in the newsletter next month! Because after completing EW6, the only thing to do is to go for speed runs, and grinding just to simply have 1 turn less than the current record isn't fun (i didn't help, and cojoncio didn't help either by taking my records). The only active thread for EW6 is the conquest records. Also, all the important threads are already done, while i still see conquest and campaign threads appearing in WC4. WC4 also have a lot of mods(which i played, which are fun btw).

I have thought and now know what it is. you have to pay to play ew6 and gcr so all players who played ew6 now play gcr while wc4 players do not change games because they also do not want to pay for gcr. and the criticism that ew6 would be a decline, Wc4 is just wc3 with better grapics and other campaigns while ew6 brought a new playing style and is generally much more complex than ew4. I know Harry doesn't want to hear it but with WC4 the WW2 series even lost a conquest. and yes ew6 lost two but actually they were added in two others.
