Can't complete it with required population, to have a perfect completion. Has anybody worked out a strategy? To have more or less OK population by turn 12 You probably need to hold Carrhae. But my best result was anyway only 25/28, I can't hold other towns on the way to have better economy. Or if I can, I can't reach the point by turn 12.
Any ideas?

I am still in Gaul, so definitely not in the position to give any good advice concerning Parthia But I am curious about your current first team. So, I presume, you use IAPs most of the time. But who are your two remaining generals?

But who are your two remaining generals? Mithridates, Vertingetorics. Sometimes Arminius. Now Ceaser and Hannibal have finally reach max level naturally. Will start to use non-IAP as the main to raise their level faster.

I used Caesar, Hannibal, Spartacus and Vercingetorix.
I made a Legionary and put Vercingetorix on it, then left him defending Carrhae while spamming swordsmen in the city to keep the population high. Caesar, Hannibal, Spartacus and Cassius killed the first wave of enemies in Carrhae (by turn 3 or 4), then went straight to the point you have to reach. I haven't focused on the next city but I took it because it was free.
I continued to spam swordsmen all the time. Then when Crassus dies and Surena comes to Carrhae, I made Vercingetorix and the swordsmen go where the green lines are, so that the enemies focused on the city and didn't kill them.
Meanwhile your 4 generals should follow the blue line, get to the last city (and conquer it) and reach the destination point.

Kiyomi , Did You kill Surena near Carrhae or later while he was chasing You? Leaving Carrhae at turn 4 seems a bit late to be at the destination point at turn 11 taking into account that we need to kill quite strong general there. Do You use any mobility items or is it OK without?

I never killed him, you can see him in the second screenshot when he was chasing me. I tried to avoid him as much as possible
I didn't use any mobility items.
I used a gold ring on Spartacus, the golden spear on Hannibal and the Augustus helmet on Caesar.
Caesar got two consecutive attacks on the last general and then Hannibal finished him.

I faced a problem with him, as he normally was fast enough to kill Crassus and come to me if I stay in Carrhae for several turns. Need to try to replay it. Thanks for encouraging

I put my spartacus inside the tier 5 city and stacked him on legionary. The rest of my troops bolted towards the red dot (for some reason you need to capture the stable next to it as well). Worked out well enough. Funnily enough, this isn’t even the worst mission in eastern empire 😂

I completed the mission perfectly. Another way actually. If You don't have strong enough generals (and/or good items for them) to get to the destination point in time - save the Crassus. You need to kill Surena. Actually it is not easy as well It will give You control over all the Roman units on the map including city of Antioch.

This was annoying to 3 star. God bless having 27 population just before you complete the game.

Well, actually andrei's method is an easy victory. After Surena is dead (and you have enough resources to kill him) you have half of the entire map under your control. I advise you to keep one archer general in reserve to deploy him later to kill that Parthian general who guards the spot. Very creative approach indeed! andrei, it seems you have tested many things to complete this mission with 3 stars

Thankfully Pretorian guards with pillum is such a great unit, that even Pacorus was able to do this. Not bad for a cavalry guy
