Managed to conquer Rome at turn 4. However wasn't lucky a bit further with taking Massalia at turn 9. And Odrissians Haven't approached Dirrachium in time so I could help them crashing city's fortifications with Destroy... So theoretically it is possible to make it 9 turns. Just needs someone really focused Can post screens for taking Rome at turn 4 if somebody wants to try. But strategy is actually valid for my particular set of gens with March. Yup, capturing Rome turn 4 makes the conquest a lot quicker, but it all comes down to luck.

I only used 7 generals because Pacorus I will only slow down my conquest. . Bato seems to be a great pick, but I don't have the medals right now. Maybe after the next update.

Deleted , yeah. 9 turns is max possible result for now. Btw, also was planning to hire Tiberius, but decided to postpone as my Crassus's March is not upgraded anyway. Will get back to it only if will be playing for the records after completing the game

Or, you can just use no generals Deleted, 12 turns no gens and highest 3-star score

Deleted, I did it!! Finally! Punic wars. 3 star. Lowest turn count.
Made screens of each turn combat logs, just in case I almost hate Carthage now. So many tries

Wow, great! And interesting! Share the strategy! Besides bribing Massalia, I couldn't capture Dirrachium and Nicopolis earlier than turn 9 (at least one of it) if moving my march gens to conquer Allobroges. Antony from Africa can't be there on time to help the allies.

andrei , it's a neat concept I discovered while playing Carthage. I can explain it later on with screenshots and such, but since I'll be on mobile for a while, I have to say that it's pretty great . A chance for 7 turns is practically 0,unless I find another way. But for now, 7 turns is practically impossible. Maybe when they upgrade unit mobility and I finally have medals to buy the generals and items I need it can be done, but usually your allies finish up your enemies at turn 8, and Rome usually spawns that annoying infantry Gen at turn 7,and you don't have enough manpower to overwhelm him nor to capture all Roman cities at turn 7,since Illyria decides to have a weird patching that makes them not capture the 2nd Roman city close to them.

Looks like there will be no more mobility upgrades for units in future, so.. yeah Your result is most likely the limit. I won't spent half a day for Carthage anymore (that's enough ) , but strategy is always interesting to see anyway, of course

andrei , I'll make a more detailed guide tomorrow. But basically, the strategy revolves around these objectives: 1.Capture Rome at turn 4 and have Hannibal move southwards at the same turn 2. Antony must destroy the first city of cyrene kingdom at turn 2. Don't have to kill the defender, just one shot the city. 3. Have the enemy infantry Gen spawn at the city south of Rome or Aleria (Sardinia if I'm not mistaken) so the Illyrians won't move towards him, or if they do they damage the Roman city they were about to capture. And the number one thing that makes this strategy work is: Manipulating belligerence lvl. Basically, you have 61 population over the total 80 cap. Just get it to 65 and you reach crazy, meaning the resources you collect next turn would be lowered by 30%,but this means your bribes will also be lowered. I bribe them at turn 3, the Nations are illyria, odrysian kingdom, and the 2 annoying allies of Rome to their north. It took me 2 hours to finnaly get it, and a lot of restarts, but the restarts are mostly because Antony didn't one shot the city, or because I auto pilot and capture a city at turn 3 before I bribe. Do keep in mind I have all my generals except my commander and Antony equip Cartage, while Pompey equips the item that gives +3. The only technology I upgrade is the one that increases damage to cities. The culture is used for mostly oration, blast, training and the occasional blast. It's pretty consistent, atleast compared to other records where you just throw everything and see what sticks. I would screenshots, but I'm on mobile, and the connection in the location I'm at isn't stable. Maybe tomorrow
