IMO, if you're experienced enough, you probably can restart and blitz through the starting phase if you feel that is best.
Otherwise, you can continue with what you have. I bought Drusus and made Commander a cav gen. This means that I have a heavy slant towards cav, which we usually only have 1 good starting unit for.
Then, Pacorus I came along. I used him as a replacement inf gen while I slowly grind my way to Pompey using campaigns.
An awkward start similar to this can be overcome, as long as you have the motivation to go on.
(Note: I have not finished a single conquest so the potential is there to advance faster.)

Tbh this game is actually very lenient to us. Especially the 95% refund that stoic, say also player who play wc4 will find the medal grind a bit better or worse depends on opinion. I think is fine. So if you have bad start like me who get seritorious as my first as my 1st gen or Nobunaga Oda starting position. Just continue and soon your crisis will be solved  |

It is appalling...  I decided to remove my old GP account because I couldn't remember anything about it - password, when it was created and so on. So, I created a new one, deleted the old one... and to my horror I noticed that my GCR progress is synchronised to GP account and not to my phone. It is really a very frustrating situation because I did not want to replay Punic war conquests anytime in the future after I collected my medals. I tried to restore my old account, but I really can't remember anything in connection to it. So, I am literally forced to restart the game, though I didn't want with all my heart...   |

I tried, but they ask for some verification, and I can't remember a thing, so they replied that it is impossible to restore it with so little information I can provide. Can't blame them. And this particular phone (because I have 4 of them) does not have any sim-card, only WiFi connection. Dead-end... But after thinking for a while, maybe it is not as catastrophic as it seems. It is only the first part of the game after all... |

With luck u be able to clear all content before the update drops Too many conquests to do it in time, but, for sure, I haven't deleted my newly gained experience with my old account  To tell the truth, it is all because of Shadow fight 3. I installed it recently and found this game quite interesting for f2p player, but I spent some resources inadequately and decided to remove my old account. It didn't help me with SF3 (the progress is synchronised to my phone, and not to my account), but interrupted my GCR progress |

stoic,that sucks. You won't be able to compete again for the records for a while. But at least you can experience the game again, and your misery in regoing through the Punic wars is always a treat . Also,the game your playing is fun, considering that most games in the app store are ptw. Only free to play games are the text based adventures which are my favorite, strategy games and some games made by the developer out of passion.
