I'll also do Chicago because I visited there last summer and my sister goes to college there:
Do:
Go to the Sears Tower
Eat some Deep Dish
Walk around the city at DAY
Go to some great restaurants around town
Watch a cubs game
Take a ride down the Chicago River
Don't:
Help the homeless (it sounds cruel, but trust me, we tried to help once and he just stole twenty bucks off my dad)
Go around at night
Confuse the Sears Tower with the John Hancock Tower
Say the food doesn't taste good.

Get out while you still can

Stay more than 48 hours. That's when the crazies come out.
