My tech: 3/4 complete in all areas.
Generals: Guderian(fully upgraded), Donitz, Rommel, Nimitz and Arnold. 
This mission requires you to both protect, and also capture islands. With very healthy titan tanks, and extremely dangerous missile cruisers, this mission is arguably one of the hardest in all the campaigns (hard mode is insane, I found this harder than antartica hard). For your navy, send them to australia to confuse osborn and help stop the terrorist generals from landing in australia.  Island hop, and ensure sea is cleared of missile cruisers before moving your tank generals else they lose too much health. Land in the island between Jakarta and Singapore to gain access with tank range to both objective cities, this way you dont necessarily have to land on the islands.  No artillery or infantry general required. Arnlold was useless(oof) |

well also rumor is highly important for your navy generals to prevent the missile cruisers from sapping away too much of your tank generals' health when they are in the water

I did it in 21 turns, had 3 Navy generals and 3 tank generals. Saved the island the Brits had and stopped the advancement of the enemy to Australia and the British Island.
Navy Generals:
Yamamoto (Super Carrier)
Nimitz (Rank 1) Battleships
Donitz (Rank 2) Battleships
Tank Generals:
Guderian (Super Tank)
Mansuso (Heavy Tanks x3)
Rokovskky (Heavy Tanks x3)*
*I created them at the start of the game to get a final general in.
Started having my 2 Battleships go after the general tank and the Navy general that will attack the Eastern part of Australia. Used Rokovskky to go to the British Island to provide support and protect the city from being taken over. Used Guderian to attack the tank general that is close to the British city. And Manuso to attack the city below the US city.
Edit: All Generals I used have Rumor Skill 5 except Manuso. So it helped a lot on pausing the enemy from moving or attacking back.

I’m having trouble holding the British island. As soon as Alexander dies, the terrorists parasnipe the city and Mountbatten returns, letting Osborn sweep Australia. I get Rokosovsky in a triple heavy to the island in time, but I never actually get the island before the terrorists. Any tips?

I have trouble with this one as well, but my best advice is to parasnipe the open city and defend it. |

But since it really helps to have the city to reach Australia, parasnipe the city and then send a paratrooper from there to Australia to take an empty city (most likely Darwin). That way, you don't need keep the city for a long time. |

Cuz if Obsorn lands in Australia, it's over. |

I actually didn't think this level was TOO bad. Basically just ignore the eastern island and the southern central terrorist island, and send your main force to the British island while a strong task force goes to Australia.
Tech: 80-ish percent maxed
Generals: Guderian on ST (maxed, level 3 explosives), Konev on Howitzer (level 5 artillery leader + level 1-2 everything else), Rommel on HT (no upgrades besides level 2 rumour), Vatutin on HT (no upgrades besides level 2 blitz), Nimitz on 2x Cruiser (no upgrades besides level 2 rumour), Kuznetsov on a 1x sub (no upgrades). Konev was practically useless cause I didn't use him until about 3 turns before I finished. I just used him to speed things up.
South: (Guderian + Nimitz) Steal the eastern Australian city and confuse the general there, then steal Darwin and confuse Osborn (I actually let Osborn land but he wasn't that bad cause the Australians brought him to about half health). Steal their western city while you're at it, since it can't be targeted by the terrorists' rocket cruisers. Then basically just get rid of the straggler troops and the navy, including Coulson. With Guderian's lvl 5 rumour and Nimitz's level 2 rumour were more than enough to get him in 3 turns.
Centre: (all other generals) Steal the British city and plug the coast to stop enemies from landing. Clear out the navy, and take Borneo and the central western island. Don't attack the island on Java, but once you take the port on Sumatra spawn a battleship and use it to destroy Morita's city health. Put Rommel across the strait from Morita and whittle him down.
I suggest ignoring Jakarta completely until you're finished with everything else. Use a turn of ion cannon on it, then 3 additional missiles should be enough to let you parasnipe it.

I used Guderian on the super tank, Rommel on the starting heavy tank, Rokosovsky on a built triple heavy in starting city, Arnold on super carrier, and Nimitz on a cruiser. Nimitz, Rommel, Arnold, and other assorted naval vessels went south, with Arnold strat bombing Coulson at every turn. Nimitz began attacking Gaiman when he went towards Australia. After Gaiman reaches Australia, Nimitz focuses fire on Coulson, rumor locking him and spamming subs from the nearby port. Meanwhile, Guderian attacks Yudintsev’s island for the airfield that can reach Jakarta and Singapore, and moves to the island between the two cities. Rokosovsky moves to the central island to take it when Alexander does. Be warned, if the terrorists take the island, the British fleet will be recalled, and Osborn will land in Australia unharmed, and therefore you lose instantly. If you don’t take it, might as well restart the mission. Guderian defeats Morita at Singapore, and I parasniped the city. He then moves to hurt Jakarta. Rommel, meanwhile, takes out Gaiman and then hopefully what is left of Osborn, possibly capturing Darwin in the process. After that, as it’s very likely Wagner will steal Jakarta, so prep some nukes and hope you can kill him.

I tried this last night and got absolutely wrecked. Help? Darth Nihilus You're gonna have to grind a bit cause there's a big difficulty spike between UN 4 and 5. Give your navy generals rumor cause that will help immensely. Start by going to Australia and the British island, and after you hold off the terrorist generals then go for the western cities. |
