Which one of these infantry generals are the best? When the word "best" and "infantry" in euw6 is combined, it's only a matter between Karl and Massena.

Tough question. I’d say they are equal. All you need to know is that they are must-have generals.

Oh yeah, Gone, the last important thing I would like to tell you about is there is a mission: New Policy in Cairo (I believe the 4th) in the Expedition to Egypt Challenge which you can use to increase the rank of you generals really quickly. It takes around 30 minutes to get someone from populace to emperor, and around 20 minutes for cavarly generals. But emperor required 6 gold badges ~ 600 medals

Just get both Karl and Massena, although I find Massena more useful because tunnel. Karl has Jungle fighting tho, so yeah. Get Barclay if you plan on having 2 artillery gens, or if you can buy more slots. 3 of them can pretty much capture a lot of cities together.

But I’m thinking of having Mahmud II + Sophia, I heard she’s an excellent Artillery.

Get 3 of them if you'll get extra slots. You can of course ignore Alexander, which is also fine

How can I farm gold badges? As achievements, or by buying them for 100 medals each via farming. Emperor is kinda worth it whereas king makes a massive difference

Agreed. Sophia is good as a princess in certain situations. I never needed to use her as one though. But if you are in defending missions, she will do decently.

Its a challenge. Go to the page with the daily missions and you will find it. Its pretty easy overall (as you have murat) so you won’t have trouble getting to the 4th mission. Shoot, and I just remembered. You will definitely need a strong artillery general for the 1 star countries in 1806. You need someone better than jourdan, and jourdan as well. So at the latest, get a strong artillery general like sophia or mahmud after massena.

It doesn't mean who to buy, it means who has the best quality. Either way, Karlssena *karl and massena* win.
