Not to offend anyone,I find auto-play very boring and multi tasking in itself, you get these great generals but never use them.? Where's the fun in that? Again, beginners do not have great generals. They have only jourdan at best, which they have to stick in either a heavy cav or the grenadier. But if its your preference, use it I get all that,but where do we get all this gold to do all this bribing?Netherlands is very poor,only 23 income,so it really seems ridiculous sayin bribes are the way to go. Haha. |

And Btw,you can get an "S" rank with just the free generals, I have done it before,you should play it out though.

It's fun the first time, but when you (need to) do it several hundred times it's better to just finish it asap, and staging an invasion of your own drags it out (time taken to think, to move each unit, to decide priority target, and so on and so on). |

And Btw,you can get an "S" rank with just the free generals, I have done it before,you should play it out though. Yeah me too. I guess at the end of the day, we both have our methods to farm. But I think mine is easier on beginners with awful tech. If you don’t know how to bribe, click on the handshake icon in the top middle, then on the letter + quill item. Then send protocol. You should have money for a lot of bribes in the beginning as long as you don’t spend any of it on anything else. |

To answer your question, I never find fun in any farming anyway. Agreed. I have tried both methods before. And I had way better generals than even you silvercreek. I had massena, karl, blucher, wellesley, and barclay to make starting very easy. But even then, I found autoskipping while watching a movie a lot less stressful, and more repeatable. |

Haha. as me and Paulus said, bribing is relative to your income, with no base amount whatsoever, so you can bribes even with little to no income (for example, if you have one city with 10 gold and 5 industry per turn, you will need just that to bribe once). |

Your method is good I am sure, especially since you discovered it yourself, however seeing as how your blucher is not fully upgraded, same as your John, and I am guessing every other general on your team. Hence why you are struggling a bit during crimean war. I ain’t trying to scold or diminish your value as a player, I am simply suggesting as a friend to simply give it a try : )

I think your farming method isn’t strong enough is all. Because it took me less than a day (but I was grinding since 8 in the morning) to take Davout from being completely unupgraded to all lvl 5 skills, king rank, and even buying him a flintlock pistol. |

The point i was trying to make is that, Silvercreek's method is for mid-late players only (and not even more effective at that), so it cannot be used as a basis whether it actually gets difficult or not.
