Unfortunately we have to calculate square roots also, which is very painful. We however, had log tables and trigonometric tables for reference. Lol. In my class, zero references, zero consult. Usually. If I calculate Bhaskara and let’s say my Delta is 13 (Non-exact square), I have to keep going. Painful but perfectly survivable. That’s during exams, of course. |
