Just because... I wanted to try.
Here's the end results of 2 conquests.
1775 as Hessians
It could have been shorter but the Russians built about 20 forts in the NW. Nice return on medals though!
If it wasn't for GB pummeling the Americans in New England I doubt I could have done this one. I took the city west of Trenton and I held New York and Trenton until I could buy some hvy.art. By then Dearborn had taken the small city back then attacked Trenton, I had Sophia by that time and she dealt with him with ease.
Next I began attacking Philly (love it's map location
) and everything around it. I then split them into teams of 3,one going south and the other west.
The "army group south" went along pretty fast and I swept them up to the north from New Orleans. The other group had a harder time since Russia and France had taken almost all the Indian territory. They met around Ft,Dearborn(?) which worled out good since they were all needed for all the bloody forts Russia built.
What a P.I.T.A.!!!
1798 as Poland
Even most of GB was Green.
Not the medals I was hoping for but it was still fun.
I started by defending my territory and upgrading the infrastructure. Suvorov will attack Warsaw,by then I have Kutaisov (on given hvy.art.) and Sophia with 2 hvy.art. to back up Kosciuszko plus the twin Lt.art. that was there,he lasts 1-1/2 rounds. The other 2 Russian generals may also attack but,sometimes they move south. DeRoy will attack the fort below Warsaw before Suvorov moves in so I just blast him with Kutaisov.
On the other side of the river I put Jourdan in the hvy.art. there,he and Dombrowski kill off any Prussian attacks and the HRE (Rosenburg). If there's enough resources I put Dumouriez in twin armored cars and begin attacking.
I use 3 teams of 2... Dumouriez & Jourdan take out Prussia and move west,Sophia & Dombrowski start on HRE and move south.Kutaisov & Kosciuszko go northeast into Russia to take the pesky factory 1st. then the pesky stable that will both spam Warsaw with light art. & cav. from the start. If Alexander stays in Moscow it adds rounds for them but, he has come out to attack too. If that happens I knock him off and send the generals where I think I need them and take the rest of Russia with just some arty. and cav.
