Well, I stopped playing Ew4 and downloaded World Conqueror 3 now. I just checked out the conquest and completed 1939 with Japan and got 50 medals. And I bought a three star tank genral for no paticular reason(i regret wasting those 300medals now) Should I sell him? And what should be my first steps in the game? till which campaign level can i do without any generals? when should I buy generals? And what are some general tips for WC3?

I think you can still work with that, just save the rest of your medals. Field Artillery is OP af in WC3, so people recommend Badoglio as a starter general. i personally went straight for Govorov though.

generally, for all games try to work as hard without buying anything Napoleon~Reborn. Only until you are stuck after multiple tries, then consider getting better upgrades or generals. Saves you a lot of time trying to decide in the earlier stages.

I see you've bought Meyer, he's not exactly good but not the worse purchase. Medals in this game are extremely hard to come by until you can buy the medal wonders which are pretty difficult to get although you do get ads now that you can watch for 20 medals a day. A gen path could be Meyer/Crerar Badoglio Ozawa (Really good Navy General for his price and can be used as a air general too) Govorov (I personally sold Badoglio to buy Govorov as Godorov can hit like a bloody Gustav Cannon) Guderian (No explanations needed, sold Crerar/Meyer to get Guderian) After your team of Guderian, Govorov, Ozawa. You can decide on what next. At this point, you should've unlocked Great pyramids and you can now begin the god awful phone killing grind for medals. My personal end game team is Guderian, Govorov, Goring, Bai X.C and 1 arty EC and 1 Tank EC. Here's a great guide (and more detailed) by Erich Von Manstein. I mean, if the best general in the game wrote a guide, you better follow it! european-war-4.boards.net/thread/1532/attention-new-players-choosing-generals

Govorov has better output but Badoglio is cheaper and pulls his weight just fine, which is why he's recommended. I've done just fine with Badoglio as a starting gen and eventually bought Vatutin

Badoglio is a great general, known for his artillery barrage. There is also Weichs (Berlin) who is worth 950 medals, and I got through the early stages of Cold War with him alone, so I recommend using him if as an alternative. Crerar is also a good tank general, good for his price anyway. His stars arent impressive, but he is known for plain fighting, and has the base skills that all tank generals usually have. Leclerc is also a pretty good general, though a bit expensive for his skill. Don't buy any infantry short of 5*. they have hella low health, and I made this mistake when buying Liang X.C. A good general overall, but being infantry is a huge handicap. He is Major, yet almost always dies. Buy either Vasilevsky for damage, or Mannerheim for survivability. Vatutin is a cheap armor general, but to tell the truth, Bagrayman is just 3* version of Vatutin. He has lvl 4 tide of iron too, and he has never failed me.

There is absolute zero need for infantry before aliens. Auchinleck is meant for those who find Crerar too hard to use but still want a tank general. I found my Crerar more as an artillery general though.
