I set up what I thought was a pretty good grind but the Hessen troops are now not taking the other towns near by so its currently fairly slow progress. Any idea how I can get them to move. I've tried killing them in the hopes they'll move after re-spawning. I've moved all my troops back as well. They have more cities to the west so their economy is fine.  |

henry8822, the Hessians likely lack the economy to spam troops and your troops are out of range to lure the enemy out (preferably as close as 2 hexes away). I can link a thread with an image of an ideal Conquest grind set-up. The start will be very boring or tiring though. However, once you set up the kill zone, the medals should start coming in. I might try re-doing this one but with US or English as the country on the towns as they'll have more resources. |

Increasing rank as part of the grind but id kinda forgotten you could just upgrade their rank with medals  so might just do that  |

henry8822 ,That's not recommended , as a lot of medals will get wasted. That's true I've had a look 110 to 125 is about 680 medals=( I've seen a similar grind with Poland in the US so I'll try that. |

henry8822 , you must have blocked the Hessen troops before they reach the coast by picking US. It is not that hard.
