Doesn't ring a bell. He must be pretty lame if I have never heard of him. No, if you don't know Bismarck you're American I'm American and I can confirm this statement based on my classmates. Though its not our fault, we don't learn world history until 9th grade. Bismark was pretty badass though.

Which one ship or minister? The minister especially, but the ship was also good. Waste of resources, but thats what happens when you start a war meant for 8-10 years later in 1939.

When someone says Bismarck I think of the minister, a minister who was able to convince Russia twice into joining a pact. For a time he completely isolated France but Wilhelm II. messed it up
