Oh yeah, Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr , Here's a tip. The spanish will ALWAYS target a unit in the city with their ships if there is one. Basically you take your admiral and cavalry gen and kill all their land forces in the water while tanking cannon fire with militia/your predeployed generals. Not just spanish, but many ai ships will always target a city, and it is an advantage to raid spanish capital with some units, if you want.

If I remember when I was first playing, I wait for French army to come attack Spain, then I support them. During that I defend my capital, bribing big country such as Mexico France and donate money to USA oh so france does come for spain after gaining control of S.america, havent survived long enough to see that happen How do you bribe and defend at the same time? Bribing takes a huge toll on income, and the spanish armada just makes whatever troop you place get wiped out in 2 turns I sacrifice 2 of my general just to defend Havana. And yes ambulance is very useful!

Interestingly, I noticed that your Spain has the flag of the Spanish Empire while my Android version has the more commonplace Spanish flag.

I managed to complete this in 42 turns with no ambulance coach and only farragut. I got an S rank aswell. This is possibly the easiest conquest I've ever done.

I bribed Mexico so that they could join 2 turns earlier. Then, I bribed Britain twice and Canada once. The Mexicans are wonderful allies. Facing against 2 very powerful countries and without British-Canadian support, the CSA capitulated by Turn 10. USA is now pretty much reunified. Spain is still annoying me, but the most important thing is that now the US and Mexico are ready to kick some British-Canadian butt. I also got France to join two turns earlier, let’s hope that they can defeat Venezuela and Colombia while also saving Peru.

....................................... I donated a bit to USA. Next thing I know, they have built not one, but TWO Armored Cars...

After noticing that my allies were doing well, I decided to attack Spain and they capitulated by Turn 20. Oh, and about France dealing with Colombia and Venezuela... ...they squash both countries as if they were a little bug. The French didn’t save Peru, but since Peru is more like bait for the Colombians and Venezuelans, I believe that the country's territory is better under French hands.

I think I now can just skip turns. Britain, Canada and the Iroquois have no chance against USA, Mexico and France, 3 very powerful and aggressive countries.

Canada is gone by Turn 38. The British have been kicked out of the mainland since Quebec has been captured, but they are using their islands as an annoying life-extender.

Thankfully America sent a troop to capture that city. And... the conquest ends at 48 turns with a S-tank. Extremely easy, basically Netherlands 1798 2.0

I used unupgraded Ludendorff with an Ambulance and unupgraded David Farragut first for housekeeping, then attacking the Spanish. You don’t even need Ludendorff, though. Stonewall Jackson with an Ambulance is enough. Or, like SolidLight , suggested, Phillip Sheridan, though since both Sheridan and Jackson are free generals, I would prefer the latter.
