I still think beatty is the best naval general due to his low textbook cost. Ah yes, he is the one that requires the least investment. True. Ah the hoi4 brazilian leader. Noice!

Ah yes, he is the one that requires the least investment. True. Ah the hoi4 brazilian leader. Noice! Yup. I’m glad that Paradox made an unique picture for him. I’m not a Getulist, but Vargas is arguably one of the best Brazilian presidents. The best representative of the country during the 20th century. Although he was a dictator, he is quite popular among Brazilians because he used his powers to free the country from the oligarchies that were plaguing it and that are comparable to the government corruption that we have nowadays. He also introduced many reforms and, despite it being a populist move, gave rights to the workers. Under his leadership, the country played a key role in WW2. As a neutral country, Brazil traded with both the Axis and Allies, but the war made the trade to Europe difficult. Vargas turned to the US as a trading partner. The Americans began pressuring the Brazilians to join the Allies. Brazil allowed the US to set up airbases in the country, and in turn, Brazil was granted an iron industry. They also formed the Joint Brazil-US Commision which was an anti-Axis alliance in South America, to prevent Germany and her allies from influencing the continent. Brazil eventually severed ties with Germany, Japan and Italy, which caused German U-Boats and Italian submarines to sink Brazilian merchant ships. In retaliation, Vargas declared war on the Axis and joined the Allies. The Brazilian Expeditionary Force helped in the Italian campaign, helping to win some major battles.

Just why? Farragut and Looff are sufficient, and if you want a very good navy, Hipper is miles ahead of him.

It does a lot of dmg, and if u are GB, and have the wonder, it would make life so much easier for you. Also, he is needed for history, u can't use hipper there. But normally in conquests u will need around 2 navy gens especially in the latter conquests.

What? Really? Even those hard navy campaign challenges and conquest challenges? Not any Challenge Conquests and I haven't got to the hard navy campaign challenges. I'm stuck on Nueve Chapelle.

If you mean the Marine Overlord campaign, I have done it many times, so send me a pic of the map. Get both Hipper and Beatty, but Hipper if you want to quickly ace naval campaigns, and Beatty of Battle of Jutland History Mode. If you are a newbie, Hipper first, pro, get Beatty for Jutland. For all of the newbies here, don't get Hipper until Marine Overlord, or if you are stuck with Farragut, DeRobeck, and Loof and are struggling.

Without a doubt, he is the second best admiral, behind Hipper.

I'm gonna have to revise my stance on him. While he certainly has worse stats than Hipper, his skills are nigh unto perfect. I would say better and Cheaper than Hipper TBH.

I will take Baetty instead of Hipper with my eyes closed. Why on earth do we need Hipper, if we can't use him in History mode?
