Netherlands! The Dutch at the battle of Quatre-Bras they stopped the French, with some help of the British, so they had to battle the allied forces at Waterloo for a breakthrough. Napoleon called Quatre-Bras the reason why he lost the battle of Waterloo. The Dutch played a honorable but little role at the Battle of Waterloo, however they dealt a big blow to the French at Quatre-Bras. Quatre-Bras was a Phyrrus victory but so was Waterloo. (I'm currently reading Jeremy Black's "Battle of Waterloo") the Dutch, at first, had made defensive positions taken but Wellington, who was given supreme command by William of Orange, decided to push further than Brussels fearing that the French capturing it could lead to low morale for the Belgian troops. The Dutch did play a role in Wellington's army but their inexperience and lower morale was a pretty big problem.

Personally, my favourite is Poland 1809 since they start with 3 AWESOME cavalry generals (we all know that Polish cavalry ROCKS). I just love to put Golitsyn and Lan on guards cavalry ( keeping the tradition ) and make a tornado through the map with 5 cavalry generals... to bad Sulkowsky is the only one on heavy cavalry, thus ruining the moment a tiny bit... The problem here is that they don't have a high nobility and need to take rests frequently . Does anyone do the same? Józef Poniatowski,? I did that once and captured Europe faster than you can say Warsaw. The problem is that your fort cracker (Sulkowski) is on heavy cavalry rather than guard cavalry where he belongs

Hessen 1776 and Egypt 1815 are my current kings, along with Prussia 1798 and Sweden 1798. UK 1812 is very easy, but I don't really enjoy the 1812 map for it lacks... diversity, imo. 1815 Ottomans are also good.

Sicily 1806 moving into Sardinia then naples, italy and into africa and eventually the Ottoman empire You should try Sicily 1809 probably the hardest and longest Italian campaign

Jean Lannes, Ney was also stupid for deciding to side with Napoleon, or at least that is what I think :/ In 1815 of course

I don't know if Ney knew how bad the French situation was in 1815 and I think he didn't want to kill Napoléon because that would make him seem like a traitor while fighting and dying (like he thought he would) at Waterloo would make him look like he died as hero

I like playing as France 1815... I get carried away, sometimes: La Grande Armée marching from Paris to conquer the world! Well, not historically true but still...
