I bought him but I feel as though Borevic would have been a better pick. Anyway, once a terrain bonus is added, Robert e lee will be miles better. Is 3 infantry generals a bit too much? Dunno, if it's enough to place a general on all the good infantry units its probably enough.

You're likely to have leftover medals and all of the slots are free, so I don’t think it will be a problem...

I’m thinking about getting Lee, but I’m not sure what skills to put on him. Anyone who swapped his skills, could you share which ones you gave him?

Gone, I definitely put tactics master and plain fighting on him. I’m probably going to put Pierce on him instead of Infantry commander. I already have that on MacArthur, so I won’t put it on another one. Thanks for the input.

Do remember that Infantry Commander's bonus also applies to the general himself, essentially making it a second Assault. Just in case you aren’t sure if you need this skill or another one that is not that good.

Gone, Oh, I did not know that. Well then, that changes my plan. I just assumed it only boosted surrounding units.

I would buy a seperate general to be an aura general, make robert e lee the main heavy hitter. Macmahon would be a great choice for that due to his skill set being very good at protecting him. Not to mention that he starts out pretty strong

what should I get as the last skill for E.lee? I have already changed battle array to plain fighting. I think revenge or tactics master is the best option but I don't know which one. BTW is one of the new skills (Rage, surpress, dog fighting etc,) good?

Rage is good if your HP is between 50-65%, which is pretty hard to manage. Surpress and Dogfight are worth using if you’re fighting a really tough and dangerous opponent, but you should probably have those skills on artillery.

SHould I invest in his city damage bonus, or should I replace it with a much more versatile offensive skill? I currently have battle array and ambush replaced with plain fighting and tactics master, but cant find much use for the city skills. I mean I have French challenge missions left, but I dont see Old Guards as crucial to their completion as he tends to get killed rather quickly if I do that
