Serbia lasted 16 rounds for me once as the uk. Romania collapsed before them Btw, this guy is meh. Douglas Macarthur is better and even he is only duke. Your better off getting someone who can reach kind and using a textbook on them for inf commander Lol, then I have no idea why War Master thinks that he is a god. Same with juljas. Even before the update, there were far better choices

I mean you wouldn’t go up against an armored car or a tank with infantry units. Macarthur is better because his terrain bonus is easier to use but most importantly, because he is better at attacking other, non cavarly enemy units like artillery. His tactics master will also massively benefit him in many situations. I gave my Robert E Lee pierce though because he only has a medkit.

The best combat infantry units imo are Light Machine Gunners or some variation of that unit, like Firebat. They’re pretty good at hitting breastplate cavalry so intercept helps when fighting those.

I find Intercept to be a must-have skill, especially when, even in the WW1 missions, you’re more likely to see actual cavalry units than armored cars and tanks. And trust me, I had used Lee in a Heavy Machine Gunner against an Armored Car and he did well.

But for instance I wouldn’t give to a general like doug haig or macmahon (or boro)

Agreed, especially when ambush exists which makes you take a lot less damage (better than alert imo)

If they did have a naval version of ambush, I would get that as a substitute for tactics master due to lack of healing items

In EU4 Those are universal skills.
