Ok, why has NO ONE talked about this guy. He has commander and is an emperor AND IS FREE. He’s possibly better than Gallwitz because Alert is imo a superior survivability skill to cover and Tunnel is really rarely useful.
Why Gallwitz then? Except for count-only challenges I guess, but then what are you using auras for? 1 range is pretty bad.

I agree, though I personally think MacArthur is better than Karl (or Carol), as MacArthur can be strong even if he is alone, Carol however is more of a supporting general, always only used in the side of stronger generals like Haig. |

Replace alert with plains and he is a solid aura general. Good that he is free. Amazing defense.

Isn't Nicholas I better in every way though? Both are Emperor but he gets better rank bonuses, has 1 extra skill, only requires the same 5 textbooks, and he's also free.
