Alexyx , do machine gunner units count as artillery? I have been placing ulysses on every machine gun I get since the unit falls on the "infantry" category No it belongs to infantry thank you, I will keep using grant until I can get someone better

This seems to be the most F2P-friendly ET game.

This seems to be the most F2P-friendly ET game. I would say its friendly to all, all IAPs are arguably the best in their tiers

This seems to be the most F2P-friendly ET game. I would say its friendly to all, all IAPs are arguably the best in their tiers Except for Reinhard Scheer. But David Betty is fortunately affordable. Other than that, yes, all the other IAPS are the absolute best at their roles.

Hmm im wondering who I should get next. I bought Hotzendorf, and have Farragut, Moltke, Sheridan, Ulysses, Looff and Stonewall Jackson as my free generals. Currently depending on hot and jack, but im unsure who to buy next with my 800 medals. I was considering McClellan since many say he's one of the best cavalry, but Hindenburg seems to be a good option too since many people made it very far with him. To add more confusion, there are arguments supporting Ivanov over the German general, and I just can't decide for I might risk wasting my medals (cant farm them through conquest since the game will crash)

Then again I might want David Beatty, or a solid infantry general like MacArthur

Then again I might want David Beatty, or a solid infantry general like MacArthur I would recommend McClellan. He is the best non-IAP cavalry general in the game. However, if you want to consider the other options, here is my opinion on them: Hindenburg is an excellent general, but if you’re planning to complete that challenge where you cannot deploy generals with a title higher than Count, I would recommend Ivanov instead since Hindenburg is a Marquess by default (Higher than Count) and Ivanov is a Count by default. MacArthur costs coins so I believe he’s a non-issue. David Beatty is one of the best admirals, but only get him if you really need him (Ex: Stuck on a difficult naval battle) because getting land generals is more important.

As previously stated by Marshal. I would recommend a good cavalry general such as McClennan. Beatty is a really good admiral but isn't required until later as you can skip some of the harder naval missions. Cavalry is always available in the campaigns so there's already much more value in McClennan plus his aura which benefits Jackson too.

Got it, I'll get McClellan, and then Ivanov. Accidentally bought MacArthur while viewing him (oops) but he's quite worth the re grind for hp tent.

The one time where an accident isn't a mistake. Well, you must be happy that such accident happens.

Well it's a good thing you can technically get all 20 general slots filled by just doing daily missions and grinding gold
