get diao chan's lvl to 4 for chaos
if u are more paitent u can save up with daily chests and get fa zheng, get him to lvl 4 for rescue and put him on archers, if ur not paitent get zhu ge jin, a tier 3 gen who have rescue aft u bought him , and put him on archers, also lvl up your troops , esp cavalry and archer to 2 in formation (lvl 4)

For the achievement gens get five tigers
they are worth it , the stats of five elite gens all suck besides zhang liao ONLY

btw unless ur cav gens have destroy, dont settle them on royal cav, settle them on chariots instead as it has more health

aft selling fully lvled up yuan shu, u can do these
sell diao chan, get a stronger controller like sima yi 司马懿，姜维，贾羽。

All the generals I use are red generals.
Archers = (master archer) Taichi Ci, Zhou Yu
Infantry= (royal guards) Zhang Fei, Sima Yi, Lu Meng, Liu Bei
Cavalry =(Chariot) Lu Bu, Zhao Yun, (white cavalry) Guan Yu

It took me about 2 weeks but I beat conquest and the normal and elite campaigns.

I also have Cao Ren and Guo Jia as red generals on towers along with Himiko and Cleopatra also on towers.

The best red generals imo are Lu Bu, Lu Meng, Taici Ci, and Sima Yi. Use Lu Meng to give double actions to Lu Bu or Taici Ci every single turn and you will just shred theough opponents. Use Sima Yi to neutralize threats every single turn with chaos. Keep Liu Bei close by to who you're gonna throw into the fray because he can heal 126 hp every two turns. Keep Zhou Yu back to deal with threats from the flank and load him up with the art of war and get the one that is like the red version of art of war. He will average Bout 100 hp damage on his main target with flames and between 50-70 damage to all surrounding opponents. Keep Guan Yu as your specialist for taking down towers and gates. Especiall on the later levels where one of your objectives in several of the elite campaign missions will be to take down a gate with over 1000 hp available that is guarded by red general Cao Ren. He will reduce your damage to him to 1 hp more than 50% of the time. So having Lu Meng able to give Guan Yu 2 attacks on him a turn for 250-300 damage an attack is crucial if you want 3 stars on these levels. The Red General Zhao Yun is good for finishing off any opponents Lu Bu didn't manage to kill because he gets a critical strike on every attack. Keep Zhang Fei available to deal with threats to Lu meng or Zhao Yu to take advantage of his surround attack when your opponents go for your archers.

I hope they come up with another update for this game and add more levels! I really want to use these red generals to get even easier gems. The last 4 elite missions give 1500 gems a piece (3000) if you spend 20.00 to double your campaign gems. I invested in that early in the campaign and have easily got more than $120.00 - 150.00 worth of extra gems out of the campaigns.

If you guys like this game, look into a game called Romance of the Three Kingdoms 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11. Koei made the game for the PS2. These games have been my favorites for over a decade and each one gives a different experience. I would choose the 10th one to start as since you can play as any character from the ROTK novel or even customize your own character to play as well. You can live as a free officer all the way up to attaining emperor...it is like this game plus a very heavy RPG component and a new game experience every time.
