I do not quite understand why "Game Over" appeared while I was winning a global conflict.... is there a limit of turns we can play?

I am fairly new to this game, but I have to say it is downright infuriating. I beat 1939 and 1943 as US. But my advice, do NOT play 1950 as US. All my allies were dead within 20 turns, Russia and China swept the board and now make 10x the resources I do per turn. There is no way to match them. A massive offensive was wiped out in 5 turns by paratroopers and nukes. I had full health units killed in a single turn, just evaporated. It won't let me start the year over as a new country either. My generals are absolutely worthless, while I will surround enemy generals and barely make a dent. The lopsidedness of it is aggravating. I've started the year over multiple times, using different tactics and the result is the same. China and USSR are invincible

I dont play wc3, im a fanatic wc4 hermit but what I can advise is that maybe you should keep on trying. In wc4 I got my fastest 1950 usa record by rushing from usa to shanghai and then controlling PRC over there. On the other hand I sent troops to europe to defeat the balkan (romania bulgaria hungary etc.) powers to gain access to poland and russia. This might not work, but continued perseverence always helps if you are still stuck there might be guides here that can help you

This game sucks. The AI is a piece of crap. This is the most aggravating thing I have ever played. The enemies upgrade to keep a step above you. One attack from low level unit kills my high level unit while I have to use 20 units and 10 turns to kill 1 guy. Enemies have endless resources to throw wave after wave at you and you can barely contain them. Your allies are absolutely worthless. Your generals are worthless. All in all a highly aggravating experience. I guess they think it's fun to have you lose over and over and over against units half your power?

You would think units would perform better after upgrade, but they do worse here??? I beat 1939, went back after upgrading everything up 2 to 3 levels and get my *Auto corrected* kicked. How does that work?

Luck and random chance is a staple of war strategy games, and it seems that you are on the unlucky side of life.

enemy does seam to level up with you alright, but does NOT learn from past experience. look for tactics that work, not unbeatable units. resources ARE limited for both sides; cut off their oil, they stop spamming.

Also memoirze where the enemy spawns there generals so you can take the city before the spawn them. For example, if you take minsk early in 1943, you won’t have to fight manstein on a super tank
