I can't seem to punch through the massive confederacy army to capture the objective

Most of the time in this game spams can be solved by upgrading generals and tech, where medals are widely available in conquest and achievements. However, when stuck, sending fast troops to occupy enemy cities/troop producing buildings can lighten the spam significantly

I used to be stuck in this mission for quite some time before clutching it.As far as I remember, build carronade and light artillery even at the first turn.Breastplate/Hunting calvary too.Best way to wipe out spam is by spamming harder.The main yhing is your units MOVEMENT.Cooperate with your allies since they consists of artillery generals that is good enough to rake out your objectives.Good Luck!

If this is Challenge mode, some enemy troops will try to bypass the southern town.
Let them do it, surround the SE town and take it.
Let the enemy attack your lvl 4 city. 1 militia is enough to distract the enemy and hold the base.
Watch out for the 2 waves of enemy reinforcements by sea and land. Spam hard to defeat the reinforcements and take the NE city by force.

How do you take the SE city? It has artillery inside and I only have infantry and cavalry. No way to break down defense. The only artillery is from my ally but I noticed he's going to the NE city first...

I believe I threw the full weight of my army at the SE city. |

The only artillery is from my ally but I noticed he's going to the NE city first... You can also try getting the NE city first. Then hold out til you get the SE city. Check out war masters strategy. Though this needs some generals to be done. |

I will check WarMaster. Btw I am talking challenge mission, not campaign mission. There is only 1 (enemy) factory on the map and you need to take the city first so I have no idea where to find artillery
