Yes, I have Bacon, but I purchased him only recently, so, I haven't used him that often. I upgraded Farrengut for a History battle though, so he was helpful as well.

First what campaign chapter are you on? Unfortunately I had to use chapter VII or VIII tech to complete this. I also had generals like Horace Hood, Reginald Bacon, and the Duke of Aosta.
If you awnser VII- onwards, Just use brute force and great generals.
